Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

And he said this to his social media loving picture taking wife who is finally feeling the sunlight on her face after months of seasonal depression. 🤪 Might just turn this into a Nate appreciation account. Stay tuned.😉

Sweet Summer Time & Dreams

Sweet Summer
Happy Saturday y’all! Last week was jam packed – just like I knew it would be! Without going into all of the mundane details, let’s just say that I am very glad that my sweet summer Saturday is finally here! I’ve been catching up on a lot of relaxation this morning. Nate went out for a long run with a friend and I woke up to my favorite iced almond latte and two donuts – french toast and blueberry cheesecake donuts to be specific! I’ve been under my favorite blanket on the couch watching Hart of Dixie with the windows open.. and I’m having a hard time moving! There is laundry to be done, dishes in the sink, and little bunny hair tumble weeds rolling around – but I’m pretty content to ignore all of those things right now!

Nate and I have been daydreaming a lot lately about the future and what it might hold. I think that getting married young can be tricky – so worth it when you know it’s right – but still tricky! We’ve both developed new interests and created so many new goals for ourselves during our short 3 years of marriage. We’re extremely supportive of one another – so it works! But I just find it so interesting how so much can change. I feel like we’ve accomplished what so many couples our age are working so hard toward – we have a great marriage, our own home, and jobs that pay the bills (not our dream jobs, but jobs none the less). Building our own home was a dream come true and it feels like we should be settled – content to stay here forever. But what if we want to move? What if our dreams take us somewhere else? I’m not saying that will happen but it just feels crazy to even think about the possibility of it.

There is always that possibility though – for any of us! We get out of life what we put in and if there is something that you want – just you know, go get it (within reason, obviously y’all). Every time I visit my home town I am told by any number of people that they’re so proud of me for “getting out”, like I accomplished some wildly unattainable goal that NO ONE ELSE can figure out how to accomplish. I’m not saying it’s just THATEASY to up and move, or that it isn’t scary, or that you shouldn’t plan ahead. Maybe you’ll have to plan for years for it to even be feasible – money doesn’t grow on trees, at least not where I’m from! I’m not saying just get in your car and drive away – but you can make plans toward the things you want and make smart choices, right? No one has chained you to your town, bad relationships, or your crappy job. And just because Nate and I feel like we have many of the things that should make us happy forever, it doesn’t mean that there isn’t actually something just as equally great (if not better) waiting somewhere else! That’s the great thing about life. =)

I hope that my ramblings didn’t come off sounding as if I think it’s simple to have any ol’ thing you want out of life if you just will it into existence. I know that isn’t the case. But I do think too many of us are so paralyzed by fear of something different that we can’t even see that we actually have other choices – and that is what I’m talking about here. I am guilty of that fear, and so I’m challenging myself to have a little faith in our dreams even when they seem a little nuts! Have a great Saturday everyone!

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who actually likes to live in Sebring haha. But I really hate traffic and I love my Sebring bubble. 🙂 I love that you and your husband have all these dreams and goals. It's refreshing to see people with hope, because there's not enough of it in this world. I can't wait to see what these big plans of yours are!

Aw I still love a lot about Sebring- less traffic is definitely one of those things! I just think it's sad when people do want to leave but feel like they can't for whatever reason. If our ideas work out we may be a lot closer to Sebring eventually. ;)—Sent from Mailbox for iPhone

This is something my husband and I talk about all the time. We love traveling so much. Even though we'd love to have chickens and a big garage, it seems silly to buy a house since we'll probably get tired of being in that town and want to go explore somewhere new! It's exciting to imagine all the things the future might hold.

Aaw, I love this post (and your pictures! And your blog, which I just found… 🙂 ). And I agree whole-heartedly – it just takes a little courage, and sometimes a lot of planning, waiting, and saving…but doing what makes you truly happy is worth it. It's easy to fall into something that's there, close by, good enough, pays the bills – it's harder to step away from that and kind of march to your own drum, but it's awesome. 🙂 And I kind of wish more people had the courage to do what the really want to, too.
