I have had a lot of memories popping up on various social media platforms lately. One year ago today I wrote: I don’t know how I am going to manage XYZ without any help. It was the beginning of the pandemic anxiety and the guilt of having to split myself between all of my responsibilities when Nate was on shift… View Post
Reclaiming Our Backyard
When we first moved into our new home a little over a year ago we were so unbelievably excited to enjoy the space in our backyard! Our house backs up to a beautiful protected green space that is fenced off. The trees behind us are so lush in the summer that you can hardly tell we’re in a neighborhood. Sounds great, right?

Gift Ideas: Planners & Homemaking Goodies
Okay, y’all – I *use* this planner. Like I don’t just own it while it collects dust, I use it. I’ve seen a lot of people talk about how their 2020 planner was the most useless purchase of the year but mine WAS NOT because of all of the homemaking lists that are included. I use it to track so… View Post

Merry Christmas y’all!! Yes I know it is only November 9th but if there is anything we’ve learned about 2020 it is that this year has gone completely off the rails and there are NO RULES. Finding A New Routine
But today I just wanted to share some positive things at http://www.actionac.net about this current “routine” I find myself in. The ebb and flow of good days that feel productive and days that fill overrun with work and too many people needing something from me. The routine of waking up early for coffee and peace while everyone else is still… View Post

I can’t believe my baby is ONE!! We obviously aren’t going to be having the party we originally planned to have this weekend, so we went ahead and celebrated today. I had to work so I spent my lunch break with him and we set up his big gift – a big ball pit with tunnels! This is the one… View Post
Hey Quarantine
Hey friends! I’ve decided to start using this space as a place to hopefully get a little creative again. I have been in such a rut lately. I suppose that isn’t a strange response to being stuck in my home for over a month with no real outside contact with anyone other than my immediate family. Managing work, kids, stress,… View Post
