Curating that “on vacation” feeling in my own backyard, home, and city – Lexington, Kentucky!
You know that feeling when you go on vacation? The thrill of exploring new places, staying in beautiful, clean spaces (or even camping in a tent if that’s your style!), savoring the best local food, and uncovering all the hidden gems that a place has to offer. Or maybe it’s a cherished destination, rich with memories, where your heart feels at home the moment you arrive. That sense of absolute relaxation, peace, and comfort—the freedom to enjoy every moment exactly how you choose.
That’s the feeling I aim to wake up to every day. I’ve always believed that God has something wonderful in store for me and my family, and now, I’m fully embracing that belief. I hope you’ll join me on this journey!
Hi y’all! I’m Stephanie!
I’m a 30-something mom to four incredible boys—a 9-year-old, 5-year-old, and energetic 2-year-old twins. As the wife of a firefighter, life is BUSY, but it’s also filled with purpose and love. Between the demands of motherhood, my husband Nate’s long shifts, and the delightful chaos of raising our boys, every day is a wild ride of multitasking and embracing the unexpected.
But amidst the hustle, I’ve discovered the joy of bringing those “on vacation” vibes into our daily life at home. Whether it’s creating moments of relaxation, exploring our beautiful city of Lexington, or embarking on new adventures, these small changes have brought so much beauty—and sanity!—to our lives and my mental health.
I’m also passionate about my work as a freelancer, collaborating with brands I love, and helping businesses thrive as a virtual assistant. Balancing entrepreneurship with motherhood is no easy feat, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
I can’t wait to share more of our adventures and tips for living life with a vacation mindset, right at home. Be sure to join our mailing list below so you never miss out!
