The beginning of fall with these guys! 🧡💛🖤
A big comfy sweater with button detail on the arms A big comfy sweater with button detail on the arms over top of a spaghetti strap pencil dress. Perfect and comfy for going into fall! Both are from @nadineweststyle - most of my staple pieces are! I’ve actually had this dress for a while and the top is a little “going out”, so this is a great way to wear it since we all know I’m not going out. 😆

This was on my fall bucket list, along with setting up a little book shelf display for seasonal books! I’m excited to get that set up and then we can go and pick out more books to swap out. 📚🎃🍁 #twinmom #boymom #fallactivities #fallbucketlist #fallbooks #sharethelex #lexingtonpubliclibrary

We slacked off a bit the last week or so due to him being a little sick and snotty. I was afraid he’d get overheated with a fever. His head is almost perfectly round now and I’m so thankful that we were able to do this. We weren’t sure how much correction he would actually get since we started a little late and his soft spot was not fully open. Thankfully, the helmet still worked perfectly for him! Thank you @hangernews for the wonderful care! #cranialhelmet #twinmom #boymom #hangerclinic #scaphocephaly #motherhoodjourney
Some days are harder than others. Yesterday was on Some days are harder than others. Yesterday was one of those tough days raising littles. But it’s funny, looking back at the photos from yesterday - I only see the joy. I don’t see the defeat or hear the screaming or see the messy house I left to deal with today.

We ate take out (they stole mine), we went on a walk to try and distract screaming babies, we did homework, we apologized to each other multiple times, we played Mario Kart, we identified an edible plant growing in our yard. 🌱 All good things.

Life lately. Collecting leaves even though it’s Life lately. Collecting leaves even though it’s a million degrees still, wrestling in the living room, Cohen the therapist, my twins kinda actually looking like twins 😆, big brother Landon reading books to everyone, playing games together, sick cuddles, and forever nursing my babies.

There’s a lot going on, as usual. Life feels heavy right now. I’m carrying it the best I can. And in between all of that, there are these moments. ❤️

Beauty Wednesday: My New Mascara Obsession

Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara

I recently had a little gathering at my house to do something I never thought I’d do – try out Mary Kay products. I must admit, I had totally preconceived notions about Mary Kay. In my mind, they were a bit outdated. Um, well, I am here to admit how wrong I am. I had a little Mary Kay party at my house a few nights ago with a few close friends and I really liked everything I got to try! We got to hang out, play around with some makeup, and it ended up being a lot of fun! I absolutely fell in love with their mascara. I have been on the lookout for a new mascara for a while. None of the mascaras I have received in my Ipsy bags over the last few months have wowed me. Everytime I use up whatever I am currently using I buy something new in hopes that this will be “the one”. Well I finally found it!
Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara

The Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara is my new favorite! Other than foundation, I’m not really one to stick to any certain makeup product. I like switching it up. But listen y’all, I’m through wasting my money on terrible mascara.

What I Like

A little goes a long way! I can do both eyes without going back for more product. It seperates and lengthens my lashes really well without clumping. The applicator has a bit of a curve to it which helps it go on more easily and helps to prevent accidentally bumping it into my eyelid – anyone else do that? Top-rated maid cleaning in Ohio will take care of your house or apartment, check out our 10 cleaning tools for home. Might just be me! I rub my eyes quite a bit because I’m one of those people who wears their contact lenses a little past their expiration date and this mascara stays PUT regardless. No little pieces of mascara all over my face. Hallelujah.

What I Don’t Like

I can’t think of anything I don’t like – honestly! Maybe the fact that I can’t pick it up in the same store where I buy all my groceries? I’m a bit used to that! But I’m pretty sure my Mary Kay consultant will be happy to mail me a new tube when I’m running low! I can’t even complain about the price, honestly. I typically pay around $7 for my drugstore mascara. This mascara is $15 but it WORKS and I don’t have to use nearly as much product. I think it’s going to even out!

I am putting together a little makeup routine vlog that should hit my YouTube channel next week. I’ll be sharing my current more natural/quick go-to look that I’ve been loving for summer! This mascara has definitely inspired it! It feels so much easier to go with a more natural look when I feel like my lashes are looking more defined.
