I feel the need to announce that there are TONS of things making me happy right now. I don’t think I can even count them all. So many. At the top of the list is Biscuit’s safe return home after a successful surgery. I know, I know- you all think I’m crazy for being so worried about a bunny. But dude. Let me justify that by saying that when we went to pick Biscuit up from the vet, the staff took the time to gush about all of his adorable and unique traits while asking if they could post all of the photos they took of him to their (the Veterinary Clinic’s) facebook profile. Nate and I were glowing with pride like we birthed this white little fluff into the world. Of course you can boast about how our pet is the cutest pet you’ve ever seen on facebook- GO AHEAD! He is just the most lovable little thing and I couldn’t help but worry.

Another thing making me happy? This top. I know. I just went from serious to superficial in 2.5 seconds but that’s how I roll. I just bought it (along with these high waisted shorts which are much cuter in person, by the way) on my little shopping trip with Brittany and her friend earlier in the week. I didn’t intend to buy anything, but the entire Material Girl line in Macy’s was Buy 1, Get 1 50% off and Brittany convinced me I’d be really angry at myself for not buying the shorts! So I had to get something half off right?
I originally wanted this top below, but it’s cropped-ness turned me away. I like it but there are just only so many ways you can wear that in a non-stomach showing way and have it look right.
How would you style this?
These shoes make me happy as well. I’ve basically found a way to wear them with everything. I’m really craving some strappy sandals. I saw some of the most perfect pairs in Target, but I’m tapped out right now as far as shopping goes! Besides, I want to save up for Chicago in May!
Another little happy highlight would be being featured in the Self Portrait Project over on Love and Photographs-you know, only one of my absolute favorite blogs to read (that basically always makes me happy). I wonder how many times I can type “happy” in this entry? Stacy and her hubby are so adorable and I get so much inspiration from her and her amazing decorating/styling tips and photos. She also has a shop selling top notch designer clothing for a great price. What’s not to love?
Last on the happy list (but first in my heart), seeing my friends happy- especially my best friend Ashley. I missed her St. Patty’s Day birthday outing but I had the pleasure of hanging out with her and bunch of our friends at her house last night. Things are just good right now. I love my life and my friends, and the way different friend groups have meshed. I’m so happy to have met Brittany, and that she and Ashley are now friends. It’s just like all the little pieces are falling together. Having great girl friends in my life really just completes everything for me. <3

And let me say… I ADORE ADORE ADDDDORE those sandals! I really want to buy a new pair but there's still a little bit of snow on the ground here 🙁 Ick.

He just got neutered, so nothing big. But I still worried. So silly, I know. Haha.
You must be some sandals or wedges when it warms up- I LOVE these so much. I hope the snow goes away soon. It felt like it was here forever too.
