Spring time swooped in like a warm blanket over my city. It was literally like God was like, OH HEY, I heard you were tired of the cold so I’ll just flip a switch – it’s Summer now, enjoy! I’m not complaining but it’s a little bit of a shock to my wardrobe. All of my dresses appear to be much shorter than they once were and shorts equally shorter. My butt is clearly getting bigger, that or I’m getting taller… hmmm? Or maybe I’m just becoming more modest? Ha. ;] Either way, I’m just frustrated with most everything I own! But this dress I picked up just a few weeks ago is like a breath of fresh air. Ahhhhhh… bold prints and colors. AND? It’s slightly shorter in the front and longer in the back. I swear this dress was made for me.
Today was spent cleaning the upstairs part of the house and watching UK play in the NCAA tournament downtown with a few friends. We’re headed to the final four and next weekend we’ll be playing Louisville! This probably means nothing to you, but people around here are freaaaaakin’ out over two major rivals playing in the Final Four! It’s fun to be able to connect with friends in a big group atmosphere for sporting events, as long as we win. ;]

The weekend has come and gone once again and I managed to tick a lot of to-dos off of my list, but not near enough of them. I need to work on a healthy meal plan for Nate and I. Now that he’s running pretty long runs in preparation for his marathon in May it’s imperative that he eats better. He’s been feeling really sick to his stomach when he runs and well, I’d say it makes a lot of sense because we eat like crap! Maybe I’m being hard on us- we do eat fruits and veggies. But we could be doing so much better! If you know of any quick and easy healthy meals send ’em my way! I get really overwhelmed when I try to make something that requires me to buy a ton of ingredients- simple is what I need!
I had to include that hilarious jumping picture just for fun. I’ve never made a normal face in a jumping picture, ever. Haha! I hope you all have a great Monday! I know I’m sure going to try! =)
