Hey friends! Sorry for the lack of updating lately! I wish there was a real reason why I’ve been so quiet but there really isn’t. We’ve been just as busy as always- with some extra busy thrown into Saturdays now that college football is back. I suppose I’ve been spending a lot of my time that I usually use to do my blogging on JTV instead, so that might explain it a little! We’ve really enjoyed meeting and chatting with some new people on there lately and we’re kind of trying to experiment with the whole “life-casting” thing again. If we had another computer I would probably leave it on quite a lot more but it gets frustrating because that’s literally all you can really do on your computer while you’re on- if you’re paying attention to the chat at least. I also get frustrated by the quality of the camera because it doesn’t quite work to it’s full potential with my Mac- so I’d like to invest in a good HD camera that will work right!
People continuously ask me what the goal of life-casting is, and I think it’s really the same as blogging or anything else that documents your life in some way. Also, in the same way that you build friends and community through blogging- you gain that through life-casting if you’re lucky! Justin.tv can be a toss up. 😉 But in some ways I like it more than blogging at times just because it’s really easy to include Nate. =) He loves to talk sports…. hah!
Oh and! I took these a few days ago. You may or may not have stumbled upon them over on my Flickr but just incase you haven’t!
But yes- I’m all over the place today. And I think I’m going to sit this “Thankful Thursday” out, simply because I just wanted to blog a normal blog! Be sure to watch us on JTV tonight if you’d like to join in the fun!
OMG that skirt!! OMG those shoes!!! Where did you get those???
Skirt = F21 and if you'll notice- it's in my header! So, I've had it a whiiiile. It was $12 on the clearance rack, hey hey!
Shoes = Target. And they were $20. They are the conforming type of flats.. that scrunch up and stretch. I love this style.. however, um.. they have destroyed my heels. I have honestly never worn a shoe that has hurt the back of my feet so bad.. ever. I'm not sure my feet will "get used to them".. and bandaids aren't much help. I'm trying to tough it out though because I love them.
But isn't cool how well they match?! I was wearing that skirt and I saw them and was like, OH MY GOD THESE WERE MADE FOR MY SKIRT.
Ha, I had the same reaction as Rachie! I LOVE that purple or is it marroon skirt and the SHOOOOES.
I like watching you on JTV when I can. You usually cast when I’m at work so I can’t really, but it’s fun to stop in and see you as a real person. 😉
It's maroon I guess. Two of the pictures look different in color. I guess it depends on the light! Go get the shoes at Target right now– except.. wrap up your heel like you've sprained it or they'll cut your feet open. 🙁 SUCKS. But I'm not taking them back! Hmph.
I'm glad you like watching me on JTV when you can! We're never doing anything extremely interesting but it's still fun to talk to people, lol.
