I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would get ‘me’ back and I suppose I have been on a mission! ❤️‍🔥

I’ve had this Anberlin tattoo floating around in my brain for yearsss. Finally talked through it with a friend, shared my ideas with @alexandratattoo , and she made them all come to ✨LIFE!✨ Had the best time enjoying several hours of girl talk, good music, and tattoo therapy with her - truly it is therapy and she is the best of the best!!!

I’m not sure I could ever put into words what Anberlin’s music has meant to me over the years. If you feel that way about music in any capacity - you get it. It’s definitely one of those ‘if you know, you know’ things. My Dad was a musician and he certainly passed that feeling down to me. Love that I carry that with me!

And now I get to carry pieces of my favorite band with me. 🖤🎶
Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

Nate Runs The World

Nate and his Dad after Nate’s first marathon in Cincinnati.

Hi friends! I want to share something with you all that’s very near and dear to my heart. As most of you know, my Father-in-law is currently battling a rare form of cancer (read about his story here). You may also know that he used to be a marathoner. Nate took up running as a way to follow in his Dad’s footsteps (pretty literally, I suppose!) and found a passion for it that he never dreamed would be so strong. He has a pretty lofty (and inspiring) goal to use his love of running marathons for an amazing cause – to raise awareness and money for a rare form of cancer that gets very little attention or funding – Cholangiocarcinoma.

I won’t spoil the details for you! You can read them all over on his blog. I promise you’ll think he’s a crazy person when you read what he plans to do, but if anyone can pull it off – I know that he can! If you feel inclined to support this cause in any way please contact me via email. We are going to need a lot of help from around the world to make this happen!

It’s important that we work together to make sure that all types of cancer receive the same attention, care, and funding. A diagnosis of Cholangiocarcinoma is almost a certain death sentence as of right now. We want to change that, and with a little bit of help we hope that we can spare other families the pain that we are going through right now.

Thanks for sharing this Steph! I'll definitely be looking into it more in the morning but I'd love to feature it as one of my special causes in the future! I believe I'm set until December now but I'll check tomorrow and let you know!

This is so encouraging to see people trying to make a difference. I sincerely hope he reaches his goal, and more importantly, that we can find the cure for such a terrible disease that affects so many. On a selfish note, do you get to go with him, you know, to cheer him on? Will you be visiting Australia in that case?! oooh!!
