What I Wore: Brunch In Nashville

in Thankful Thursday, Travel, What I Wore on 20/06/17

Brunch in Nashville, TN
Nate and I went to Nashville a few weekends ago just for a night. We got the chance to see a few of our favorite bands with friends and stayed out entirely too late. It was so much fun but we were wiped out the next day! I brought one of my go-to comfy outfits with me to wear home the next day because I knew I would be exhausted. I also knew there was no way were leaving without finding a delicious spot for brunch!

I threw on a tank top maxi dress and layered my Jason Isbell (a little music recommendation for you there, if you don’t listen to him!) top over it with a knot to the side. Paired with my current favorite platform sandals, a braid, and a hat – I felt completely put together! I recently chopped off ALL of my hair so I’m looking back on these photos with a little bit of nostalgia for that effortless braid! Haha.

These aren’t THE BEST photos because A) I wasn’t anticipating even wanting to take photos after our late night and B) I ran out into the middle of the road and demanded that Nate take photos. Bahaha. So we had to get out of the way of the … you know… oncoming traffic. I just really liked the cool sign over the street.. and didn’t notice much else.

We ended up eating brunch at 417 Union. I HIGHLY recommend it. I got the “Courtney’s Favorite” – two eggs scrambled with onions and smoked salmon, served with house potatoes, tomato slices, a toasted bagel, and herb cream cheese. I also got a side of bacon. It was the thickest, most delightful bacon I have ever eaten. I’m hungry just thinking about it.

Shout out to this guy for always being forever partner in crime, brunch date, and camera man. He’s kind of the best.
