Okay y’all, I’m going to admit it. When I first saw some of the 90’s fashion trends coming back, I wasn’t into it. But I started seeing chokers around again and I just had to have one. I feel like this choker is going to channel the 90’s regardless of what outfit I wear it with but I really love the way it works with this dress and these plaid sneakers! I picked up this dress from Gordman’s for free – yep, 100% free!
I am a Gordman’s rewards member and they sent me a $20 coupon in my email this month – no strings, just $20 to spend! I love their home section so I went in with the intention of using the coupon on something for the house. I did find the cutest artificial succulent for $3 but I also found this dress for $8, along with a long patterned cardigan (not pictured – $8) that goes perfectly with the dress and completely changes the look! (You’ll be seeing it soon!) I mentioned that I’m looking for more versatile pieces to mix and match and this dress is perfect! It will go with so many things. If any of you are LuLaRoe fans it is cut exactly like a Carly – so comfy and flowy!
These little sneakers are quickly becoming my go-to mom shoe. Ha! I bought them on a whim at Target when I found them on clearance. I usually wear flats or boots with just about everything but I wanted something like this that I could throw on to run around outside with Landon and still feel like me. I think it’s important to keep my identity and love what I’m wearing – even if I am a mom now! My hair may be 90% dry shampoo and I may not have makeup on, but I’ll be wearing cute sneakers! Ha!
