What We Wore: Stripes and Chambray

A few weekends ago Nate and I went on a little day date … alone! We went and walked downtown for a few hours, got coffee at The Roastery, and had popsicles at Vinaigrette Salad Kitchen. We had the best time just wandering around our city and enjoying some treats from our favorite places. I was so happy when we came upon one of my favorite spots for photos…

These tulips bloom every year and the houses on this street are just beautiful. I love walking by them and daydreaming about living in one of them. I adore our home in our little cookie-cutter suburban neighborhood but I can’t help but think of how nice it would be to live downtown in one of these beautiful old homes! I think about how we could just walk to all of our favorite places whenever we wanted. BUT, I’m thankful to live away from the hustle and bustle of downtown living, too. You can’t have it all, right?!
