Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

And he said this to his social media loving picture taking wife who is finally feeling the sunlight on her face after months of seasonal depression. 🤪 Might just turn this into a Nate appreciation account. Stay tuned.😉

Current Favorite: Hair Products

hairproductsUp until a few months ago I had very long, very bright red hair. I took the slow and healthy approach to getting back to blonde after being “little mermaid red” for a few years, but even so – my hair still went through a lot! These are some of the products I’ve been loving over the last few months on my journey back to blonde.

1. Jhirmack Silver Brightening Shampoo: This purple shampoo has worked perfectly to remove the brassy/yellow tones from my hair. It smells great and it’s unbelievably cheap too! I think I picked this up for around $5 at Walgreens.

2. Organix – Intense Moisturizing Treatment Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil: I have been using this hair treatment throughout the entire red to blonde process. If I don’t have time to sit down for 15-20 minutes with my hair up in a shower cap/wrapped in a hot towel I will just use it like a regular conditioner and leave it on for 3-4 minutes in the shower. It has worked wonders for keeping my hair healthy!

3. Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo: I have been an advocate of dry shampoo for a long time now. I used Tresemme for a year or so and liked it well enough but I decided to give the Not Your Mother’s brand a try after loving another of their products that Influenster sent to me. I am so glad I gave this product a shot because it works better at freshening up my hair between washings, it smells amazing, and I’m pretty sure it’s cheaper! This stuff saves me so much time because I only have to wash my hair two or three times a week.

4. Not Your Mother’s She’s A Tease Volumizing Hairspray: As you can see, I’m pretty fond of this brand. Their hair spray is a brand new favorite of mine as I only picked this one up last week. It’s also cheaper than the Tresemme version I was using previously. So far I’m a big fan! It has just enough hold but doesn’t weigh down my hair at all.

5. Rusk Deepshine Oil Protective Oil Treatment: See the tiny little orange bottle in the picture? You probably almost missed it but it’s there! My hair stylist gave me a sample of this months ago. You can see how tiny it is and I still have plenty left – you don’t need to use much! I just put my finger on the end, turn it over, and that’s all I need. I rub it into the ends of my damp hair after I’ve combed it out – making sure not to run the comb back through my roots with the oily product on it. This has definitely helped to keep any frizzy ends healthy and happy.

6. Garnier Silky Secret Leave-In Daily Care Conditioner: After I dry my hair with a towel I spritz a little of this all over it and comb it out. It gets rid of all of the tangles and makes it super soft. When I had insanely long hair this stuff was a must have! It cut down a lot on the time it would take to comb out my hair and on the amount of hair I would rip out trying! I still love using it on the shorter cut. I can tell it makes a difference in how it lays when I blow dry it.

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know if you decide to pick any of them up – I’d love to hear how they worked for you! Also, feel free to tell me about any of the products you’re currently loving. If it smells good and doesn’t cost a ton of money – I’ll definitely be likely to try it! ;]

I want to try the Not Your Mother's products, but I can't ever find them! I'd love to try the Organix treatment too. Great round up of products 🙂

Strangely enough I found them at Meijer! I know not everyone has Meijer in their area- but if you do, check there. 🙂 They only have a few select products though, not the whole line. I also found the Organix treatment there. It was nice to be able to find those things at the same place I shop for groceries. 🙂 —Sent from Mailbox for iPhone

I need to try the Not Your Mother's Dry Shampoo. I too am a dry shampoo addict, but my go-to has been the Batiste dry shampoos. They're around $9 at ULTA though and the Not Your Mother's has caught my eye, especially since the price tag is a little more wallet friendly.

I have natural (very healthy) hair, but I still love to use a really moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. I adore the L'Oreal EverCreme Shampoo and Conditioner and the L'Oreal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm is amazing if you're looking for a new deep conditioner to try.

I was just looking for new knitting ideas and this big bow hair clip seems great for my new knitting project. Because of this idea I'm seriously thinking of buying this book to check out the rest of the projects.

Hair fall is not abnormal it is the normal issue of today beside the stomach issues and headache. The major causes of the hair falling frequently are the uneven eating routine and the abnormal way of life. Hair fall is delivered by the horrible way of life and weight control plans. – Dry scalp hair loss
