I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would get ‘me’ back and I suppose I have been on a mission! ❤️‍🔥

I’ve had this Anberlin tattoo floating around in my brain for yearsss. Finally talked through it with a friend, shared my ideas with @alexandratattoo , and she made them all come to ✨LIFE!✨ Had the best time enjoying several hours of girl talk, good music, and tattoo therapy with her - truly it is therapy and she is the best of the best!!!

I’m not sure I could ever put into words what Anberlin’s music has meant to me over the years. If you feel that way about music in any capacity - you get it. It’s definitely one of those ‘if you know, you know’ things. My Dad was a musician and he certainly passed that feeling down to me. Love that I carry that with me!

And now I get to carry pieces of my favorite band with me. 🖤🎶
Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!
It was a hot one at Bristol today but we had fun! It was a hot one at Bristol today but we had fun! 🏁

I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

Banding Together For Leah

It’s no secret that Cancer has played a huge role in my life, most obviously through the loss of my Dad to Lung Cancer at age 11, and several other family members over the years. I’ve mentioned recently that we’re currently dealing with Cancer again in our family, so it’s fresh on my mind. It’s also fresh on my mind for another reason: Leah, my boss’ 7-year old daughter who is battling Leukemia.

An excerpt from her donation fund page:

Leah is a beautiful little girl from Lexington, Kentucky. As the firstborn of 4 she’s not only a big sister but also the apple of her Daddy’s eye and Mommy’s big helper. In October of 2008 Leah was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and underwent 2 ½ years of treatment. Treatment went well, Leah was declared to be in full remission and life, that most wonderful gift, was to go on as normal.

In July 2011, most unexpectedly, the Nash family learned that the leukemia once gone… has relapsed in force. Leah’s burden was reborn and aggressive and immediate treatment has started. We are now standing with Leah to fight this disease.

The truth is, I don’t have a huge platform to stand on- but I have something. This blog is something, and if one person is able to donate a dollar or spread the word to one person who can- then it’s worth it to post this here. They are currently in the process of raising $10,000 by October 31st for Leah’s bone marrow transplant and all of the extreme expenses that will go along with relocating during that process.

I’m trying to think of more creative ways to help through the use of the internet and I will keep you all updated if I put anything into action! If you would like to keep up with Leah’s journey, you can read their family blog here.

I saw the picture of her in my bloglovin reader and I immediately hoped it wasn't her who had the cancer you were talking about. =/

I'll definitely donate some money, but I will also sign up to be a bone marrow donor. Kaelah of Little chief Honeybee posted about a month ago about being a bone marrow donor, and I've thought about it almost everyday since then. I'm taking this as a sing and now I'm going to take the plunge! There's a good chance I won't ever be matched with someone, but there's no reason why I shouldn't do it. Check out the site: http://marrow.org/ http://www.marrow.org/DONOR/When_You_re_Asked_to_…

I hope this little lady gets better! She's in my thoughts.

That's an awesome idea Steffani. I've thought about it but I've never researched on how to actually go about it. Thank you for the link! It breaks my heart that anyone has to go through this, but kids? It's just so unfair.
