I finally pried myself off of the couch late this afternoon and sort of fell into the shower. Ha. My In-Laws invited us over for dinner and we basically never turn down delicious free food. Heck, who am I kidding? We don’t turn down free food, period. I ate around 1/4 of my steak and like four pieces of corn. Not sure what’s up with my appetite lately. I can’t seem to eat meals.. but I want 8000 snacks a day. A handful of pepperoni? Yes, please. Half a box of Tabasco Cheez-Its? Yes, yes. My eating habits are fabulous. *watches my New Years resolution to eat healthy fly out the window* I realize now that I never actually wrote down a list of set goals- allowing me to fail without any accountability. That’s just a strange coincidence ..
My spirits have been lifted so high every day when I log into our 365 Days of Marriage Tumblr. It’s not that we have thousands of followers or thousands of messages in our inbox. It’s the fact that the followers that we do have are so appreciative and like to send me sweet little notes letting me know that they enjoy our photos and find inspiration in our marriage. I don’t feel like we’re are some super special couple changing the world by any means (because we aren’t) but when I log in and read the sweet messages that people send: I feel like we’re special. And that’s just a good feeling. =) So thank you to all of you that follow and take the time to say sweet things whether it be here or on our tumblr!

1) The picture to the left is from my 2nd trip to visit Nate & Ash here in Kentucky. He was 19 and I was 18. We were pretty much chilling in a chair in the mall making out in front of a store that I would find myself working at a few years later! WEIRD.2) You can’t see much detail here but this pretty peacock box was the card box at our wedding. It was completely hand painted by a friend of mine & Ashley’s.
3) The charm hanging on the photo of my Mom & I was my bouquet charm- it’s a picture of my Dad & I with a music note attached so that I could carry his memory in the wedding!
4) My Valentines Day roses are going strong!
