People do not know me but I will pretend. 😜

Reading that description makes me want to get some creativity flowing in this space and on my blog again, though! I’ve just been working and mom’ing - but I miss creating!

Birthday Wishlist

I am having trouble with this birthday wishlist stuff. Like, how can a girl who wants literally most everything not come up with a simple list of wanted gifts? Wait… I think that’s it. I think that people who want EVERYTHING can’t make decisions on what exactly to put on a small list. *pulls out hair* Not only that- but, these things are going to need to come from a store within driving distance of people who actually plan to purchase something for me because they’ll want to give it to me in person. And, when I say people- I’m talking like, Nate and Ashley. LOL. My Mom always asks and I’m like.. yeahh I’ll get back to ya.. and it’s too late because she needed to know THAT DAY in order to mail it on time, so I get what I get.

So far I have one thing that I know I want:

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in: Midnight Cowboy Rides Again

I bought a little Urban Decay pallet a while back and of course, I used like 4 colors on a regular basis- this being the number one choice. I ran out quickly, and I’ve been too cheap to replace it. Perfect for my birthday wishlist! But what else? WHAT ELSE?! I really want a new oversized purse- but, I don’t have one in mind. I would like some new boots and a cute new dress- but these are all pretty vague ideas!

But for the most part I just want house stuff! Like, magnets! I want some cute vintage looking magnets for my fridge! (which I just looked up on etsy by the way and, they exist) I also really want a fake vine/greenery that I can intertwine with white (Christmas type) lights for the top of my cabinets. I can’t seem to find the simple items I need to make this happen. Maybe Garden Ridge? And I would like a desk.

But these are not birthday wishes! Magnets? I would like some magnets for my birthday please… and an eyeshadow. Yep. That’s it. Thanks. Sigh. Maybe everyone I know could just send me $10 gift cards to PF Changs and Buffalo Wild Wings.. so I could eat like a queen every day for a while. I had ramen for dinner… I think this is the best idea I’ve come up with yet.

I always do this too, I know I want STUFF but how likely is it that my friends and family will get me an iMac or an iPhone or a new car?! Those are the big things and then I'm like, wait, what is the small type stuff?

My mama's house has greenery and Christmas lights over our giant living room — very pretty!

But, yes, when in doubt, GIFT CARDS for everything!! I always just say, books and gift cards will make me a happy girl.

Even though my birthday is months and months away I know that I’ll only be asking for house related things or money to purchase house related things. I guess that’s just part of growing up!
