Weekends & My Birthday is ALMOST Here!

This past weekend was crazy good fun! I’m kind of sad that it’s over, but looking forward to the next one because this Friday will be payday. =) Woo!

Saturday was a girls day. We cruised around in Tabitha’s new VW Bug and sported our ridiculously messy hair while we shopped in Target. Tabitha reminded me just how much I want a VW Bug. If you’ve been a reader of my blog for  over a year you will probably remember the agonizing pain I went through trying to decide if I was going to hold out for the RIGHT VW Bug or go ahead and purchase my Subaru Impreza. Obviously I chose the latter- it was more practical. But, riding in Tabitha’s is making me think that I NEED to own one of these someday.. one day… *wishwishwish*

Hah! People were cracking up as they passed us on the road. I’m sure it looked like nothing but a car full of hair flying down the highway. I had it a little worse in the backseat!

While we were in Target I found a few little items that I wanted, but didn’t buy! My birthday is a week from tomorrow so I can’t be out buying things for myself, now can I? =) I plan to do a wishlist post greenapplecleaningmd.com/ tomorrow! (although I can’t even find the necklace and headband on Target’s website, so I guess I’ll leave those out!)

Also on the upcoming post list? A video tour of the upstairs! My video tour of the downstairs (seen here) was quite a while ago and I think it’s time I show you all the rest of the house (no matter how unfinished I feel that it is!). So, expect that this week as well.

I’ve also got a few outfit posts to do, which you may’ve seen I uploaded a few pictures to Flickr for.

I’ll get to them- but today is Monday and it’s been a long day! Enjoy the rest of the week everyone! Monday is over! =D

Yay riding in convertibles is so much fun, even if it does leave your hair a tangled mess! I can't wait to see what you have on your birthday wishlist!

BEATLES ONESIE = cutest most rockin' thing I've ever heard. I have to see it on her! Haha. Adorable..

Target has really awesome stuff, and they strategically place the clothing and accessories right near the front so GOOD LUCK making it past that to the toilet paper without something you clearly don't need. 🙁

And YES- you must come and see our house! I will text you.

Love that first shot of you. 🙂

I used to love love love VW bugs and that was my dream car — a lime green one — but then I saw how cramped they were on the inside. My old 86 Bonneville may have been ugly but I could pack an entire dorm room into it to and from school! I love having space to stretch out.

Hope you have a great birthday next week! Ha, the only bad thing about getting mine done early in the year (03/30) is that I don't have a ME ME ME day to look forward to at the end of the year. Maybe I should get married or something. Just kidding. 😉

They are a little cramped.. but I rarely have people other than Nate & I in my car. Although- we take my car out and about a lot more and I’m pretty sure Nate would never drive my car again if I bought a bug. 🙁

Thanks for the birthday wishes! You should just.. declare and EmmySuh day toward the end of the year!
