Pepper Bacon Crisps Recipe

Pepper Bacon Crisps Recipe
Hey friends! I know you’re probably shocked that I’m sharing two recipes back to back! It just worked out that way with my schedule and I’m not even mad about it. Bring on all of the yummy holiday food, right?! This is truly the simplest recipe of all time. Bacon Crisps are so unbelievably easy to make and SO delicious. I took 50 to Thanksgiving and they were GONE well before it was time to eat!

Pepper Bacon Crisps Recipe
The original “Bacon Crisps” recipe is from Paula Dean (found here). There are only three ingredients so there really isn’t much to change to make it my own! However, I did use thick cut pepper bacon from the deli and that really took them up a notch! I also used parmesan from a shaker vs. freshly grated parmesan because of convenience and laziness, let’s be honest. So we’ll call this the busy mom adaptation of this recipe.

Pepper Bacon Crisps Recipe:

You Will Need:

  • Club Crackers
  • 1 lb of pepper bacon (cut in half)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan

Directions:

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Pre-heat oven to 350 °F.
  • Cut your bacon in half.
  • Place club cracker in the middle of your bacon piece.
  • Put 1 teaspoon of cheese on cracker and wrap with bacon.
  • Place on baking sheet in oven for 40 minutes.

**Yields about 24 bacon crisps.

***You can bake these at 250 °F for 2 hours if you have the time but I never do!
