I’ve been wanting to do a silhouette picture and today seemed like the perfect day. This wasn’t exactly a “posed” shot, if you know what I mean. ;] TMI? Sorry. But I think that makes it like 10xs better. It’s silly if we’re just running around posing for pictures and then retreating to our spots on the couch 5 seconds later. Haha.
Today has been a great day! When I woke up this morning I wasn’t sure how it was going to go. I felt “the blahs” lingering from yesterday. But after I went to work, got off work, and hung out with Brittany for a little while I started to feel a lot better. I even made deviled eggs while she was here and we basically devoured them. After Nate got home we ran to the post office and picked up my box of clothes from Jennie!! Needless to say I’ve been trying on clothes all night! I took a few pictures using lamplight before my camera needed charging. I decided I’d make dinner and come back to it- but I uploaded them, looked at them, and.. I think I’m definitely in need of natural light! So I’m hoping to get off work fairly early tomorrow so that I’ll have plenty of window light to work with. I so wish it was sunny and warm out.
Aside from the light being too gloomy- I realized that I haven’t seen my bare arms in a picture in quite a while! *cringe* Things look different in pictures vs the mirror. Ha. I know xs1000 that I’m not fat in any way (before you smack me) but I’m definitely out of shape. I know that I’ve said it here a hundred times. But really, I’ve got to lay down the Dr. Pepper and start doing (at least) some light exercising. I come to this same realization literally every Winter because I wear so many layers and so many forgiving pieces of clothing (leggings, billowy dresses) that I don’t even notice until I go to put on a pair of jeans .. or I see my arms in a picture. ;] I think it’s just where I know I’m getting further into my twenties and if I don’t start really taking care of myself now it’s going to be a lot harder to come back from it. Plus I want to be extremely fit by the time I have a baby so that I’ll feel that much better during my pregnancy and have an easier time getting back to the “normal” me afterwards. It’s a long way off still, but definitely a goal I’d like to start working on now! I’ve done terribly so far with my resolution of giving up Dr. Pepper. Do they make a patch for that? Ugh.

Yeah, you are definitely skinny pants but skinny doesn't always equal healthy. But it is soooo hard to find good exercise possiblities with the weather so so cold like this. I love walking outside but it takes 32849 layers to make it tolerable…sigh. Good luck though, you always look adorable.
