Day 12 of 365 Days of Marriage

(click here to see it bigger!)

The “Winter Blues” have snatched me up today. I haven’t felt my usual excited bouncy self at all. But I’m trying not to complain too much because this feeling has only come a few times this Winter season while during past Winters it has consumed me and left me feeling sad for months. Nate and I cooked up our own experimental meals tonight and I left the kitchen a mess with dishes everywhere and dirty counters- completely unusual for me. I probably have around 4 or 5 loads of laundry needing to be washed, towels need to be folded, bathrooms need to be cleaned, etc etc. But when I feel like this I could care less. I even took a shower at like 6pm- that usually doesn’t happen until around 11pm!

Anyway, enough whining. Nate rubbed my feet for a while and little things like that always help. =)

I received my package from Jennie today but I wasn’t home to sign for it so I need to go pick it up tomorrow. I’m so excited to see all of the fun things she sent, so I’m sure that will definitely lift my spirits! And speaking of lifted spirits…

This Hearts and Bunnies sweater newly added to her shop made me smile! I kind of need it because.. hello.. I have a fluffy white bunny and “harts” are obviously my fav! Plus I kind of have an obsession with puffed sleeves. It’s perfect! *adds to my list of things to spend money on*

  1. I swear I could have written the first part of this blog post — I have been avoiding the winter blues pretty well until this week but I'm having a hard time. But yes, snuggling up on the couch and having my feet rub definitely helps! Hope you cheer up!
