I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would get ‘me’ back and I suppose I have been on a mission! ❤️‍🔥

I’ve had this Anberlin tattoo floating around in my brain for yearsss. Finally talked through it with a friend, shared my ideas with @alexandratattoo , and she made them all come to ✨LIFE!✨ Had the best time enjoying several hours of girl talk, good music, and tattoo therapy with her - truly it is therapy and she is the best of the best!!!

I’m not sure I could ever put into words what Anberlin’s music has meant to me over the years. If you feel that way about music in any capacity - you get it. It’s definitely one of those ‘if you know, you know’ things. My Dad was a musician and he certainly passed that feeling down to me. Love that I carry that with me!

And now I get to carry pieces of my favorite band with me. 🖤🎶
Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

Day 40 of 365 Days of Marriage

Today was an exceptionally good Wednesday. I was kind of worried about not being able to make my hair appointment at 2:30pm because I get my hair done out of town and my last few Wednesdays at work have been longer than usual. But guess what? I was completely DONE at 11:30AM. I worked a whole two hours! Whew! Sad thing is? I’m exhausted like I worked an entire day. But I think I’m starting to get used to feeling like a sloth- ha.

I headed straight over to meet my Mother-In-Law at her house so we could head out to lunch at Panera Bread before our appointment. PS: Have you ever had the green tea at Panera? LOVE. When we got ready to leave there the snow started to pick up a bit, but it wasn’t supposed to do much until later that night. Right? No. When we headed home around 6pm the roads were covered and so the drive back was much longer than the drive there. I made it home safely about 7:30pm and Nate greeted me at the door to see my hair! So sweet.

We ate like teenagers for dinner- scrounging together this and that and heating up some french fries (which we ate in ranch dressing while I moaned dramatically about how these would be so much better with cheese! why are we out of cheese!?) Kalen may have been impressed with the produce in our fridge- but we’re really just big fat phonies sitting over here eating a bag of frozen french fries for dinner. *hangs head in shame*

We took this picture on the way up to bed. Sometimes we stand at the one and only window on the front of our house (isn’t that weird?) at the top of the stairs and look out, especially when it snows. It’s a nice view. =) I walk around wrapped up in my pink blanket because I’m so cold all of the time that I can’t even make it up the stairs without my extra warmth. And we hug a lot- especially when I’m feeling all whiny-pants like I have been lately. (PS: the phrase “whiny-pants” was invented by my 5 year old nephew Ethan who once declared that he just shouldn’t get to go [somewhere] because he had a feeling he would just be a whiny-pants and ruin everyone else’s fun time. At least he’s honest.)

By the way: my hair is really RED. <3

If it wasn’t on the second floor I would totally have done that. I plan to do a window looking in type photo in the future for sure!

Your fridge was impressive AND depressing, all at the same time! ahahah. Mine is too tho, really. My mom came over once and went through my (full) cabinets & fridge & freezer and then exclaimed, "DON'T YOU HAVE ANY FOOD IN THIS HOUSE?!? DRIED APRICOTS? WHAT ARE THESE?!?" 😉

This is probably my favorite picture so far. I think you two look adorably sweet in it. Your hair looks WONDERFUL from what I can tell so far. I need more pics!
