I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would get ‘me’ back and I suppose I have been on a mission! ❤️‍🔥

I’ve had this Anberlin tattoo floating around in my brain for yearsss. Finally talked through it with a friend, shared my ideas with @alexandratattoo , and she made them all come to ✨LIFE!✨ Had the best time enjoying several hours of girl talk, good music, and tattoo therapy with her - truly it is therapy and she is the best of the best!!!

I’m not sure I could ever put into words what Anberlin’s music has meant to me over the years. If you feel that way about music in any capacity - you get it. It’s definitely one of those ‘if you know, you know’ things. My Dad was a musician and he certainly passed that feeling down to me. Love that I carry that with me!

And now I get to carry pieces of my favorite band with me. 🖤🎶
Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

365 Days of Marriage · May 1, 2011

365 Recap: Thursday-Sunday

Hi there everyone! As per usual, here’s my 365 dump and end of the week/weekend recap!

Thursday was a typical day and I remember being very tired that evening. Nate and I decided to order delivery from Wing Zone, and it took them FOR FREAKIN’ EVER to deliver our food. When our food finally made it to our house it was cold and I was so hungry that I was nearly sick. Luckily we were able to get 50% off of the whole purchase, but still. I haven’t been that irritated in a while!

Day 118 of 365 Days of Marriage

2 hours to deliver our food? No beuno, Wing Zone.

Friday was a wonderful day. Nate and I had to wake up early to take his car in to the shop to be fixed and we headed to Cracker Barrel after that to enjoy a yummy breakfast before I had to go in to work. I hung out with Kristie and Brittany after I got off of work. Kristie and I needed to look for bridal shower gifts for Phlecia and it was also a good excuse for the three of us to go shopping and enjoy a delicious dinner at The Pub! I had my first fried pickle and I’ve come to realize that I like pretty much any food as long as it’s fried. ;] Nate had a T-Ball game that night and once we both made it back home we were pretty exhausted. I curled up on the floor next to his chair for a bit and then we went to bed.

Day 119 of 365 Days of Marriage

Cuddling up next to Nate’s chair after a fun night out with the girls!

Saturday was another super fun but exhausting day! I made my way over to Kristie’s early in the morning and we went to Phlecia’s bridal shower together. It was a gorgeous “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” themed shower. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera and only got a few snaps with my phone! Kristie and I went back to the mall for a little bit after we left there. By the time Nate and I made it back home we were under major allergy attack and needed naps. We ended up feeling a bit better and had a yummy dinner at BD’s Mongolian Grill, but came back home pretty groggy and ready for bed.

Day 120 of 365 Days of Marriage

A Saturday night in with some allergy meds!

Today was GLORIOUS. I woke up feeling kind of blah, and I did something that I don’t normally do- I got up and did something about it. Typically when I feel blah/sad/hormonal I just crawl back into bed for a nap. But today I decided to put on my walking shoes and walk a little over a mile around my neighborhood. The weather was so perfect and I honestly didn’t want to stop walking! But I decided to come on home before I got too far away and had to call Nate to come get me, ha. So after my 1.36 mile of walking I came around the corner to find Nate outside mowing the yard. He asked me if I’d like to go to Lowe’s and Meijer to grab a few things he needed for the yard and so that I could pick out some flowers. We hopped into the car, got what we needed, and headed back home to get going. We had such a fun time hanging out in the yard working and planting. Such a weird day for me- exercise? Yard work? No make-up? Haha. Nate made a joke about knowing that we’re old now that we’re spending money on grass seed and flowers, and I guess he’d be right!

Day 121 of 365 Days of Marriage

Enjoying some time together and making our yard look pretty!

I love all of those and your weekend sounds marvelous!

My husband and I were laughing the other day thinking about how we used to loathe the idea of spending a Saturday in Home Depot/Lowes with our parents and now we love to go hang out there!

It's true, we must be getting old.
