What I Wore: Peacocks & Pearls Floral Romper

Over the weekend I got a chance at a little “me time”. It was just what I needed! I had a hair appointment at my new salon in Lexington Green, Sola Salon Studios (shout out to Tiffany Fitzpatrick for keeping my hair vibrant and perfect!), and on my way in I passed by an adorable boutique called Peacocks & Pearls. I decided to check it out after my appointment, thinking that it would probably be way out of my price range. When I walked in I immediately fell in love with the decor. Check out my instagram to see a photo of the inside of the store. And then I saw them – 50% Off Sale Racks. I knew I was in trouble.

I picked up a handful of items to try on just for fun – even a form fitting sequined party dress! Because why not? But the second I tried on this romper – I knew it would be mine! The floral pattern, the fit, the flowly material, the POCKETS, the color palette – LOVE. I knew black tights would look perfect under it to make it a bit more appropriate for the current season. I think it will work great in the Spring and Summer as well. The colors are a bit “fall” but there are so many colors in it that I can easily pull a springy green or peach into focus with the right accessories. You’re probably all giving me the side eye after my little speech on capsule wardrobes! Ha! But you know, I think this romper is pretty versatile! I think it will be a great key piece to mix and match. Now, someone come over and give me the motivation to overhaul my closet. Pretty please!I’m wearing the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in “Honeycomb” and lip pencil in 022 that I received complimentary of Influenster! The formula is super smooth and creamy and stays on really well. Having a matching lip pencil really is a game changer! I think I will need to share a YouTube video on the two different shades I received and show you all a little more in depth just how awesome these are! Stay tuned!
