I tried the Arbonne system for about two weeks and I noticed a huge difference in how I felt about my skin. My face looked brighter and more awake. My blemishes faded quickly and if I did notice a new one before bed, by the time I woke up the next morning it was almost gone. The cleanser has a hint of a citrus smell to it. It lathers well and makes my face feel squeaky clean – it’s my favorite! The eye cream is probably my second favorite. I feel like whatever it is doing around my eye area is brightening up my entire face.
I have makeup on here, but that usually doesn’t help my face look much “brighter”!There are 5 steps. 1 – The Facial Cleanser, 2 – Regenerating Toner, 3 – Intensive Renewal Serum, 4 – Corrective Eye Cream, 5 – Restorative Day Cream, 5 – Extra Moisture Restorative Day Cream (if you have dry skin), and 5 – Night Repair Creme. It sounds like a lot but the last three are just one step, depending on day/night. I was a little overwhelmed at first by how many steps there were but it only takes a few more minutes than my previous routine – definitely worth it!
Arbonne is committed to using safe, nontoxic ingredients in their products. And I love that they go above and beyond to stay committed to being “green” right down to their catalogues and packaging! They have tons of products, not just skincare! I’m especially interested in trying out their aluminum-free, paraben-free deodorant. Everything is causing us to be ill these days, right? But if there is even a small chance that too much aluminum being absorbed into the body through antiperspirant is linked to Breast Cancer or Alzheimer’s – I feel like that is something to pay attention to!
What is your take on a pricier skin care line? Do you think you get what you pay for? I’m starting to lean that way, as I get older! I am not affiliated with Arbonne in any way and my friend Alanna became a consultant for the discount – like so many people do! If you’re interested in knowing more about the products or would like a consultant to order through, let me know in the comments so I can give you her info! Or feel free to go straight to her online shop here to browse through the products!
