I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would get ‘me’ back and I suppose I have been on a mission! ❤️‍🔥

I’ve had this Anberlin tattoo floating around in my brain for yearsss. Finally talked through it with a friend, shared my ideas with @alexandratattoo , and she made them all come to ✨LIFE!✨ Had the best time enjoying several hours of girl talk, good music, and tattoo therapy with her - truly it is therapy and she is the best of the best!!!

I’m not sure I could ever put into words what Anberlin’s music has meant to me over the years. If you feel that way about music in any capacity - you get it. It’s definitely one of those ‘if you know, you know’ things. My Dad was a musician and he certainly passed that feeling down to me. Love that I carry that with me!

And now I get to carry pieces of my favorite band with me. 🖤🎶
Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

Thoughts on Pregnancy: 36 Weeks

33 Weeks and 4 Days

It took these photos a few weeks ago – so technically I’m 33 weeks (almost 34) here! I haven’t been as good at keeping up with photos and as I planned to be. Life is busy and I don’t always feel like I look “photo ready”, ya know? ;] SPEAKING OF PHOTOS – we got our maternity photos done and I am completely in LOVE. I am still trying to pick which ones I can’t live without and it’s proving to be very difficult! That’s what happens when someone as amazing as Erika Litton takes your photos. <3
33 Weeks and 4 Days

At 36 weeks I am now seeing my midwife once a week. It’s starting to feel extremely real! I’ve had some pretty low energy days but I think maybe I’m finally starting to feel like doing some nesting. Brittany came over a few nights ago and I flitted around the nursery throwing things away, reorganizing, and I basically ended up forcing her to move furniture and help me put our stroller together. She says I’m definitely nesting. Ha. On Monday I started to experience pretty extreme pain in my pelvis and hips. Baby Boy has been head down with his little butt on my right side and his feet on my left, so his head is turned sideways instead of facing my back. And apparently he’s very low! So, these two things combined are causing some pain. My midwife told me to sit on my birth ball quite a bit to try to get him turned around and not laying sideways. I’ve been working all day every day sitting on the birth ball since then. I think it’s helping!
33 Weeks and 4 Days

How Far Along Are You: 36 weeks and 1 day
How Big Is The Baby?: 4.2 – 5.8 lbs and as big as a honeydew! (according to that trusty baby app)
How Much Weight Have You Gained?: It feels like a lot. 0_0
Maternity Clothes: Wearing sleeveless clothing is preferable right now. I get SO hot.
Stretch Marks: Still none on my stomach and the Save My Skin oil that I’m using seems to be reducing the little ones on my boobs even as they’re happening.
Sleep: One night I’ll sleep really well and the next – nope. I’m sleeping sitting up to avoid acid reflux and basically only on my left side as something about baby’s position is causing my right leg to go numb when I sleep on my right side. Oyyy.
Best Moment This Week: Hearing baby’s heartbeat (never gets old) and having my first cervical check. I know that’s totally weird but it’s fun to finally be doing all of these things I’ve been waiting for.
Movement: All day every day!
Food Cravings: Mostly burgers. If I get to the point where I’m really hungry, you better be prepared to find me a burger. And not just any crappy fast food burger.
Food Aversions: None. FOOD.
Labor Signs: I think I’ve had some Braxton Hicks but they’ve been painless. I’m still not sure that’s even what I’m actually feeling?
Belly Button In or Out: I really hope my belly button returns to normal – that’s all I have to say.
What I Miss: This has been a week of missing normal life while loving all the baby kicks – I’m so torn. But I’m really, really ready to be able to lay down and get out of bed normally. And to be able to take off my pants on my own.
What I’m Looking Forward To: Getting my hospital bag completely ready, putting finishing touches on the nursery, cleaning our house until it is SPOTLESS. Bringing home a bebe. <3
