I finally put some of those frozen bananas to use in my banana bread! 😆 Who else has a freezer full of brown bananas? Can’t just be me.

Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t mak Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t make it into this mix. 🎶🤘🏻 But there’s a @drpepper t-shirt so that’s even better! I’ve been having so much fun lately remixing things I’ve had for years along with a few new pieces!

Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

My littlest boys are 4️⃣!! Their only birthday My littlest boys are 4️⃣!! Their only birthday demand was that we get them a Sonic the hedgehog cake! 😆

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was a teenager and I only vaguely remembered a ride or two! There was so much to do for the littlest brothers and aside from being HOT, it was perfect.

Everett was big mad at us for taking him on the SpiderMan ride and did not trust our judgement the rest of the time. 🤣 He LOVED the 1 Fish 2 Fish ride and wanted to ride that all day.

Bennett on the other hand was all about the thrills and the Trollercoaster was his favorite. He said it was “Torrifying” but he made us all ride it with him multiple times.

I rode Velocicoaster with Nate, Landon, and Maile. And while I would do it again - for a moment I did think I might die. I only did that once. 🤣 Nate and Landon rode it multiple times. Hagrid’s was more my speed and Cohen agrees with me!

I am a Disney girl at heart! But Disney doesn’t have a *real life* baby dinosaur that you can pet sooo there’s some competition. 😆

Positively Monday

1. Instagram Positivity: How cute is this photo from Shopbando? I love a good collage photo of pretty objects. I strangely get a lot of inspiration from images like this with pretty color pallets and items that I want to add to my wish list! I actually saw this “But First Coffee” mug in person at Altar’d State and I came *thisclose* to buying it. I’ve been thinking about it ever since! Now I think I may need it AND that “I Am Very Busy” phone case!

2. Pinterest Positivity: Feeling all of the positive vibes from this gorgeous photo! I’ve never ice skated at an outdoor ice skating rink and I think it would be so much fun. We actually have one during this time of year in Lexington and we have for the past couple of years, but we’ve never been! I like to dream about sneaking into it in the middle of then night while it’s pouring the snow, just Nate and I. <3 (Because I'm cheesy.)

3. Blog Positivity: I was so happy when I came across the Maiedae book club! These ladies are full of positivity and I have a feeling that the books they read are too. I just joined the private Facebook group and I’m excited to pick up the book they’ve chosen for December. I rarely make time to read but when I do I get so much out of it. I’m crossing my fingers that having someone literally tell me which book to read and having others to discuss it with will help me get motivated. I need to mix a little something else in with the “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” stuff. Some of that stuff is not positive. 0_0 Ha!!

4. My Positivity: Today I’m feeling positive because Monday is over! I know, this is a late post – but better late than never right?! Womp, womp. Also, my Mom called me today to let me know that they already have someone interested in renting their house and they will find out tomorrow if the background check went through. If so, the renters want to move in by January 1st! It is unbelievably insane to me to think that this could all happen so fast and my parents could be living here permanently very soon! Eekkkk!! On top of that – I have Friday off and Nate and I are heading out of town for a mini-getaway with friends. Our friend Matt tour manages/runs sound for some of our favorite bands (Saves The Day and Say Anything) so we’re going to go hang out with them and listen to some good music! I think we should just quit our jobs and head out on tour with them! I mean, I could be a merch girl…

That is so awesome that your parents are moving there!!! Baby Houser isn't even here yet and I am praising and thanking the Lord that both our parents live near us to help out! So excited for you guys!

Yes! I am so excited. I know it will be a huge help and weight lifted to not constantly feel like we need to make arrangements to get down to Florida, especially with a baby. Plus it will be so nice to just be able to go to the mall or get coffee with my Mom, ya know? I haven't had that luxury in years! Can't wait.

Okay, I love this idea! Recently, I realized I see so many things that are negative on twitter and facebook that it was impacting how I thought about things. I love the extra time to validate the positive experiences that social media also brings!!

I'm glad you like it! I have felt that exact way many, many times! I wont deny that I do my fair share of complaining now and then on social media, but I really try to be mindful of it. I really do think you get back what you put out! =)
