Last weekend I had the pleasure of hosting Ashley’s bachelorette party at my house! Most of y’all know who she is, right?! If not – well, let me just say that we’ve been friends since we were 12, we met completely by chance on vacation, and I’m not sure either of us would be where we are in our lives today without the other! I doubt I’d have met my husband and be living in Kentucky! So, I was pretty excited to host her party and give her a fun night with friends that she could always remember!
I’ve never thrown a large get together before so I had a blast making paper poms, banners, and baking treats! I can’t lie- I felt super proud of my decorating skills and I did it on a very small budget! I was very, very blessed to have a lot of help with the food and we had quite the spread! I worried myself to death about there not being enough food all for nothing. My friend Kalen (you may know her, too!) came and put on quite the show with her amazing Pure Romance products. (Ahem, you should check her out!) She knows how to own a room full of women, keep them laughing, and educate them – all at the same time. Pretty fantastic! If some of you are like, “Teehee, really? Pure Romance?” – trust me guys – they have products for everyone. I swear by their Sugar Scrub and Body Dew. I smell like a pink cupcake all the day long and my skin is so SOFT. Also- Body Dew will make your tattoos super bright. Mine looks insane with that stuff on it! I’ve basically replaced using lotion with this and my skin doesn’t get as dry. Looove!
I’d say it was a pretty successful lady gathering! I sure hope it was everything Ashley hoped it would be! .. And no, I haven’t taken the paper poms down in the dining room. They’re just too darn pretty and they match my regular decor. ;] Now I just need to make another banner to hang up. Bunting is so lovely and I have so much pretty paper left to use!
Well. I think I will roll around in the giant fluffy hotel bed now. We’re seeing The Gaslight Anthem tonight in Indianapolis! You know the lyrics I have tattooed on my arm?! Yep! Ah, I can’t wait!!

Looks like such a fun time! Kalen is awesome at her job. I'm so glad she is my PR sponsor 🙂
I love those pom poms too! You did such a great job decorating and everything looks like something I would gorge on! -Jessica L
Bachelor parties don't have dress codes. People can wear whatever they want.
