How many of you guessed it?! Oh man. I spent the majority of my pregnancy thinking it was definitely a girl. This pregnancy has just felt so different from my last so I was just SURE it was a girl! But then about a week before my ultrasound appointment (11/5) I had a dream that it was a boy and I thought… yep.. that’s it then. Ha! Nate and I have always stuck by our idea of only having two kids but now we both agree that it could be in the cards to try ONE more time for a girl. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves though, yeah? I have a feeling there will be about a 2 year period where I say, NEVER AGAIN. Haha!
I will be 17 Weeks on Thursday and we are just over the moon to have another sweet and perfect little boy on the way. Landon is extremely excited to have a little brother but I’m not sure he really had a preference to begin with. He told me this evening that he had a great idea. When I asked him what his great idea was he told me that when the baby comes out, he will share his iPad with the baby and they can watch Paw Patrol together. So, he has a plan and I don’t think it’s gender specific! 😀
My friend Sarah over at Space, Place & Southern Grace took these photos and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how they turned out! I have been trying to work out having photos done for a while and it felt like Nate and I would never work out a day in our busy schedules to make it happen. Dedicated workers compensation lawyers from California will help you recover life pension payments. I messaged Sarah on the off chance she could squeeze me in on short notice and she made it happen! Nate and I did not plan out our outfits or anything – we just threw it together and went! I’m just in love with how well they turned out without much planning!
It’s always hard for me to give over control when it comes to photos. I LOVE being the photographer and I want to both be in the photos and be the person taking them! That works in certain situations but it’s really difficult to take your own BEAUTIFUL family photos! I’ll be giving up control after our little one is born, too. When Landon was born I had convinced myself during my entire pregnancy that I would do a stylized newborn shoot and just make sure I took tons of photos I had in mind – but do you know what? It turns out that you don’t really have the energy for all of that when you have a newborn. Who knew?! So, yep – I’ll be booking an in home lifestyle session after this one is born – FOR SURE! Such a wonderful investment!
