On Saturday we grilled out a bit and enjoyed such a fun evening with friends. Nate and I really haven’t had the time the last few months to really hang out with anyone. He was so focused on his running in the weeks approaching his marathon and it just wasn’t possible. So this was a much needed relaxing time full of yummy food and good conversation. Just what we’d been needing! I’m always the really goofy weirdo that gets out the camera and tripod when we have get togethers. I used to be really shy about it but like, I finally realized that it was silly to feel that way. I have a blog – I open and honestly take outfit photos for the blog – these people know I’m mildly weird by now. So who cares? Any way, ha! I had Brittany and Kristie get into this first shot with me as they tried to tell me that they didn’t know how to pose. CLEARLY they do. Come on ladies- we all know how to strike a good pose!
We ended up deciding to walk downtown after our feast of delicious food to find a fun spot to hang out for a bit. I can’t tell you how much I love a cool evening out on a patio with friends and pretty twinkle lights. I mean really, what is better? I can’t wait for so many more nights like this one!
