I’m Ready For Fall

I’m completely ready for Fall. Who else is with me? I’m so excited. And, if you know me- you know that as soon as we hit the cold weather I am going to start whining about Winter and how awful it is. But, I do enjoy fall quite a lot! I would attribute this to growing up in Florida. Why? Because seasons don’t really exist beyond- hot, hotter, and slightly less hot. (Yes, Floridians- I am aware that it got into the 30s last year. I’m not denying you your fluke Winter Season) But, I digress- I grew up without crisp cool weather and beautifully colored leaves. So I enjoy Fall, a lot. I had no reason to own boots or sweater tights in Florida. I had no reason to artfully layer pretty patterns or wear hats. I would actually go out on a limb and say that Fall Fashion is probably my favorite because I never got to experience footwear beyond flip flops – and I am obsessed with boots!

As a newly married Woman on a budget (in regards to bills and things that I actually must pay attention to)- I have stayed out of the mall. But, the thought of all of the new Fall items flooding into the malls and online shops are starting to get to me. I’ve never been a crazy spender by any means. I don’t think I’ve spent more than $25 on a pair of jeans in… well, I can’t remember. So, I generally shop sales.. but I definitely used to visit the mall and purchase an item here and there for a good price often, and that of course adds up! I doubt I’ll get to do a lot of shopping but, I can always window shop through the wonders of the internet. Shall I show you a few things on my wishlist? =)

What do you want for Fall? =)

I pretty much want EVERYTHING you just posted. Neil and I are also going on a big budget because of the move. Living rent free for the first 3 years of our marriage meant that I didn't have to change my spending habits at all. Boy, this fall is going to be interesting 🙁 But I know that watching our money will benefit us greatly and the act alone will allow us to be able to save up for a down payment for our very own house!

Ah, poo! I forgot to mention how I'll be ready for fall once it gets here. That's usually how I am with seasons. I LOVE Kentucky because we get to experience all seasons and since I like change, by the time the next season is here I'm ready for it! So while I'm still in love with summer it'll change come the beginning of September.
