I can’t believe that I never got around to posting photos of Landon’s 1st Birthday Party! Oh WAIT – yes I can. I can totally believe that. As we’re approaching Landon’s 2nd Birthday, less than a month away, I am reflecting a lot on the past year with him. It has been a crazy two years full of so many wonderful days. Nate and I have felt every emotion imaginable as the parents of this perfect little boy. We are so blessed to have him and call him ours.We are planning something really simple this year to celebrate his 2nd birthday. I felt like ONE was a BIG DEAL. Two is totally a big deal – but we’d rather take him on a little getaway somewhere fun and just have a small gathering with close family at our house. I can tell you that I will most likely still order one of these banners from Minted’s collection of party decor though! Or at the very least, I can order the letters to make the one I have say “TWO” and update the photos. Haha! This one is hanging up in Landon’s room right now and I just love how it looks in there! Their decorations made our party, along with the cake that my super talented Sister-in-law made and the delicious Super Why! cookies that Baked By The Dozen whipped up for us! The custom banner, table runner, cupcake toppers, and wrapping paper all came from Minted.com. Again – ONE was a big deal to me! We even painted our kitchen turquoise to match!!! …. Just kidding! 😉 That was just an ‘oops’ and a bonus when we realized!
