Pieces of The Days // Busy Weekends

Ah, the weather here has been so perfect! This past weekend was beautiful and we spent as much time as possible outside. There was a little bit of everything – dinner downtown with friends, trivia, patio grilling, and a girls night out with Kristie while the boys went to the football game! We had such a good time traipsing all over downtown and chatting. The unplanned weekends that fall perfectly into place = my favorite! The photo of us is in front of a new local place downtown that serves a bacon cocktail! You heard me right – bacon cocktail. Mind blown.

I made it back to the gym on Sunday and seriously kicked my own butt. I started feeling it midday Monday while walking around downtown Louisville in the rain with co-workers. Thankfully, most of my day was spent sitting in a business meeting taking notes. I’ve done my best the past two days to try and walk normally but it’s not happening yet. I can’t wait to get past the pain and back into a good workout routine. I just have to remind myself that it will pass!
