Little Bits Of Summer

Little Bits Of Summer
It’s been quite a few weekends ago that Nate and I made our way downtown to the Farmers Market. I kept meaning to post these photos but some how other things kept coming up! I think maybe I also held off because I had worn this top in almost every outfit post for a week or two! Ha! Don’t hate me for wearing a white skirt after Labor Day, either. These were taken long before! But can I just say? We never followed the “white rule” in Florida.. so, I really couldn’t care less about it. I guess I pretty naturally just don’t wear white in the Fall though.

We didn’t make it down to our Farmers Market as many times as I would have liked this Summer. It runs every weekend until October I believe, so we still have a few more chances! Now that I think about it, I bet I will love it even more once the crisp air settles in and the leaves are changing all around! It’s still in the 80s right now though, so it’s a little hard to think of Fall being right around the corner. I went ahead and did my seasonal cleaning over the past weekend, took down all of the Summer decor, and put out my pumpkins and leaves. It doesn’t matter what season it is – I love changing the house around to match it. Simple happies, ya’ll!

I really wish we lived downtown sometimes. It would be so nice to be able to just hop on my bike and pedal down to pick up some fresh produce and pretty handmade items. Though depending on when you ask me, I will tell you that I want to live in almost every possible setting there is. I can see us out on a few acres of land in a gorgeous ranch home, I can imagine Nate and I living in a high rise downtown in a big city, and then I can also picture us right here in our cozy little neighborhood where the houses are a tiny bit too close together. There’s something wonderful about each scenario! I suppose having friends that live downtown is the best of both worlds really, because we can just go over to their house and walk from there!

I think eggplants and sunflowers should be forever friends. They look so good when their photos are next to each other.
