So today I’m sharing a song that I’ve been tapping my toes to pretty frequently. I originally heard this song via Pandora and it’s really strange because I wont hear it again for a long while but it will just randomly pop into my mind. It’s in my head at least once a day and I can’t help but dance a little while I sing it quietly to myself .. at my desk.. in the car.. wherever! So catchy! And um, who knew that Scarlett Johansson (another of my girl crushes) could sing? It was most definitely news to me!
What is your take on someone who is already a celebrity dipping into the music industry? I know that we all love an respect Zooey for it, but for some reason I feel like she’s a special case in a way. I have no idea why I feel that way. Maybe you can explain it to me. ;]
I think the reason we all love Zooey is because she doesn't do much that's mainstream. Most of everything she does has more of an indie vibe, and if it is "mainstream" it's still true to who she always seems to be. Not that i'm overly concerned with what "indie" vs. "mainstream" means anymore. Haha.
But I really liked Scarlett's voice! I tend to like actors/actresses who do a music project outside of crappy and uninspired pop. Have you checked out Hugh Laurie's jazz/blues album? I love it.
