Feeling Put Together..

Hi, hi! How are all of my lovely readers doing today? I can’t believe that it’s already Thursday. A good thing I suppose! This week hasn’t been quite as rough as some of the previous weeks. My workload has been a little lighter than usual so that has been a much needed “break”. Nate and I have even managed to cook a few yummy dinners due to having a little more time in the evenings. I’ve been trying to make sure we get a veggie at every meal. Trying is the operative word here. Too bad cheese isn’t a vegetable. We seem to have no trouble incorporating that!

Last Saturday Brittany and I went and did a little bit of Christmas shopping. She picked me up in her brand new car and we hit the town! Well, we hit the shopping area near my house because we don’t have the patience for Christmas at the mall. She snapped these photos of me back at my house before we headed out to play trivia later that evening. (I love putting my friends to work. ;]) I really wanted to get a few pictures of this outfit because while we were in Kohl’s earlier that afternoon a guy ran up to me all smiles and asked me, “Who’s your gay!?. Dumbfounded and completely confused I replied, “What?”. He repeated his question and then added, “You’re just SO put together! You look awesome!” and then he ran back to his group of guy friends. I was BEET red. People compliment me now and then but this guy totally caught me off guard so much that I didn’t even know what to say. I did manage to say thank you, though!

These Target tights are going around on a lot of the style blogs I read. You can find them on the end of the sock/tights isle in little rolls and in so many fun colors. I picked up red, burnt orange, army green, and a thicker grey pair. I want to go back for navy blue and mustard. They’re only five dollars a pair and they’re so soft. Love! TIP: wear black tights underneath to make them seem a darker shade and less shear (and to stay warm!).

PS: Do you like the falling snow on the blog? I’m loving it, considering it’s been 60 and raining lately! The weather in Kentucky is so confused right now!
