Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

Stay tuned.😉

What I Wore · June 10, 2011

Triangle Dots

So guess what, friends?! I have taken outfit photos every single day this week. Can you believe it? I can’t either. It’s been unbearably hot so I’ve been doing it very quickly! My neighbor dude walked out into his backyard while I was taking these on Monday. I happened to be behind the camera checking the photo I had just taken so I just nonchalantly turned around and said, “Heeyyyy!”. He responded similarly, and then I stood there behind my camera until he went away, because I wasn’t about to face him and stand in front of my camera, pose, and have it go *beep, beep*. At least 4 of my neighbors have seen me taking pictures with the tripod, and I know they just have to wonder what I’m doing (or what is wrong with me). I don’t really care, but I’m not going to stand right in front of them and do it either!

I can’t believe it’s already Thursday, er, technically Friday! I should’ve posted the right outfit for each day but hey, life is busy and I think you guys understand! I enjoy leaving the Monday feature up for the day anyway, so I didn’t want to swoop in and post another blog on top of it before it had it’s full run!

I made a little bit of a promise to myself this week that I would dress to impress (myself) every single day, no matter what. I typically dress not of my typical style to work on Mondays/Tuesdays because the dress code is so relaxed and no one really sees me all day! But I love putting together new outfits and feeling good about what I’m wearing- it’s a great mood booster for a long day at work!

Brittany and I share a love of fashion, so we at least had each other to share our daily outfits with. But in preparation for school she was getting ready to quit working with me in a few weeks. Her time there was cut even shorter than expected when she got into a pretty bad car accident on Monday evening. Thankfully, other than a completely shattered ankle (bad, but could be so much worse)- she’ll be okay. Her car, not so much. Nate and I went to visit her tonight and she was in pretty good spirits, which made me really happy to see. But yeah- I miss Brittany at work so much already and it’s only been 3 days. SIGH. Ha. :[

Brittany, Kristie, and I actually came across these shorts on a little shopping trip not too long ago. They were on the sale rack in Aerie and Kristie and I both ended up buying them. Brittany liked them too, but opted out- and now we both wish she had bought them because she’s not going to be able to get her leg into anything but wide leg shorts and dresses/skirts. :[ They’re just so comfortable and flowy, and I adore the little triangle print on them. Also, I can’t complain about an elastic waist! Talk about simple and no hassle. If you think it’s starting to sound like I’m too lazy to button/zip a pair of shorts- you’d be correct.

Outfit Details:

The shorts are adorable. I thought you were wearing a skirt at first. I wish I had cute outfits I would totally do this, but mine are all boring and plain because I work with kids. lol

It's really just about the way you wear something! 🙂 It's just a T-shirt and shorts. But I wouldnt want to wear 'good' clothes around kids either. :/

I've been checking out your site forever & I love your outfit pics. You always dress so cute! I am a little envious cause it's harder when you're plus sized, boo. And I do the same thing when people are around & I'm trying to take pics of myself. I just hold my camera & act like I'm taking pics of the trees or something until they disappear haha =)

Aw but I know quite a few extremely fashionable style bloggers and friends who are plus size! Don't ever let that get you down.
