Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t mak Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t make it into this mix. 🎶🤘🏻 But there’s a @drpepper t-shirt so that’s even better! I’ve been having so much fun lately remixing things I’ve had for years along with a few new pieces!

Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

Chaos!

Mmkay. So let me tell you all a little somethin-somethin about box hair color. It’s fun times- but sometimes the fun doesn’t last long. LOL. Let’s just say that it doesn’t really look like it did when I first did it. I have a hair appointment tomorrow. The brunette thing was short lived, and I didn’t quite go ALL the way in the direction I intended to with the color- however, where I stand right now is a lot easier on the whole “returning to blonde” route than if I went darker and THEN decided to go back to blonde. I kind of wanted to do brunette the right way at the salon tomorrow but I’m pretty sure I just don’t have that much adventure in me. I half-assed it. I know. But.. who knows. I could change my mind by tomorrow. I’m definitely wanting to spice up the blonde somehow. Red? I loved that when I had it.

Chaos #2. Waking up to a flat tire. Not me, Nate. But it may as well have been me because that little joker stole my car like a thief in the night! 😉 Granted, he works like 30 minutes away from home and I work about 5. He goes in at 6AM and I go in at 10AM .. so .. the likelyhood of someone being able to come and transport me to work was fairly good. But then.. we couldn’t get ahold of anyone.. and it was 9:18AM and I was shoving grits in my face wondering what to do. So long story short, my friend Brittany (who goes in at 9AM) came from work and got me. Thank goodness. I wasn’t even late. When Nate got off he took care of business and now we’re back on track.

So between the tire fix and tomorrow’s hair fix- I think we’ll make it through the week. 🙂 Looking forward to Cincinnati this weekend. I already miss Jackson & Kristie. I’m such a sap.

PS: Listen to this song. I heart David Bazan. <3 These lyrics especially:

“You used to sound like a prophet, and everyone wanted to know
How you could tell the truth without losing that soft glow
But now you feel like a salesman, closing another deal
Or some drunk ship captain, raging after the white whale”
