I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would get ‘me’ back and I suppose I have been on a mission! ❤️‍🔥

I’ve had this Anberlin tattoo floating around in my brain for yearsss. Finally talked through it with a friend, shared my ideas with @alexandratattoo , and she made them all come to ✨LIFE!✨ Had the best time enjoying several hours of girl talk, good music, and tattoo therapy with her - truly it is therapy and she is the best of the best!!!

I’m not sure I could ever put into words what Anberlin’s music has meant to me over the years. If you feel that way about music in any capacity - you get it. It’s definitely one of those ‘if you know, you know’ things. My Dad was a musician and he certainly passed that feeling down to me. Love that I carry that with me!

And now I get to carry pieces of my favorite band with me. 🖤🎶
Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

Oh, Change.

Circa March 2007

I started to look through my Flickr today. I’ve had the same account since 2007 and it’s amazing to see how much I have changed in just a few short years. Just take a look at this picture!

December 2007

And, I’m not just talking about my hair. I can see it in my face. It’s just strange!

I still fit in these jeans- so I guess that’s a good sign. However, I remember them being comfortable in that picture- with no stomach pooching over. And now? I kind of have to step in them, jump up and down a lot, and then suck in real hard while using all my might to button them. Then, I wear a poofy non-conforming shirt. LOL- and that might be why I overheard someone at work discussing whether or not I LOOK PREGNANT. *shakes fist* And don’t get me wrong- I’m well aware that I am not fat. If you start yelling at me about this I’ll punch you in the face (in my mind). It’s just the change from a tiny little unshapely teenage body into a more womanly “curvy” body (but I’m not unhappy that my boobs have grown, mind you). It’s just different and I have sort of a love/hate relationship with all of it. And when I have babies I will look back nostalgically at pictures of my current body.. what a vicious cycle. =)

Yeah, it is interesting how we change from years to years but I think sometimes become more accepting of our bodies as we grow up. I know I was a lot thinner in 2005…but I’m more accepting of my body as is now…

Anyway, you always look adorable to me!

oh stephanie! i can relate. i went through that "phase" in my 20s…but i kicked some butt and now i'm in better shape than ever and i'm almost 35. btw, you are tiny and perfect and beautiful, so don't even worry about the jeans thing! 😉 and if you do- there is nothing wrong with keeping your core strong and stable- i love pilates and yoga because it keeps me strong and balanced. if you plan on having babies in the future i recommend it because of all the lifting you will be doing and you do NOT want to throw out your back. the *bonus* will be a flat tummy.
