I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would get ‘me’ back and I suppose I have been on a mission! ❤️‍🔥

I’ve had this Anberlin tattoo floating around in my brain for yearsss. Finally talked through it with a friend, shared my ideas with @alexandratattoo , and she made them all come to ✨LIFE!✨ Had the best time enjoying several hours of girl talk, good music, and tattoo therapy with her - truly it is therapy and she is the best of the best!!!

I’m not sure I could ever put into words what Anberlin’s music has meant to me over the years. If you feel that way about music in any capacity - you get it. It’s definitely one of those ‘if you know, you know’ things. My Dad was a musician and he certainly passed that feeling down to me. Love that I carry that with me!

And now I get to carry pieces of my favorite band with me. 🖤🎶
Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Your Questions Answered..

I thought about doing a video blog for this, but I ramble a lot. So let’s keep things simple! I’ve been getting a few questions now and then (just a few, really.. probably not enough to dedicate to an entire post) and I thought I’d answer a few of them!

Q: Your hair is so red! How do you get it that red? What products do you use and how often do you touch it up?

A: First of all I will start by saying that my hair is naturally blonde. I went fairly gradually from blonde to a light red color (that no longer seems red AT ALL in comparison to what I have now), to bright red in the salon, to what I do now at home. So, that being said- I don’t personally recommend just going from one extreme to the other on your own because that is definitely not what I did. It could work, but I wont tell you to do that!

Right after coloring (inside light).

LOL at my crazy eye.. right before most recent touch up (evening sunlight).

I use Manic Panic in Vampire Red and Pillarbox Red to get the color that I have. When I decided to do it on my own I went out and a purchased a mixing bowl, the application brush, a pair of reusable gloves, a package of hair clips, and plastic shower type caps (to hold in the heat over night). I had a very faded, mostly red base with blonde roots. I don’t have to bleach for this reason. I simply put equal parts of each color into my mixing bowl, mix it all up, apply to my roots first, and then all over. Once this is all done I put it up in a clip, wrap the plastic cap around it, and sleep in it. YES- I sleep in it. Manic Panic is like a conditioner and wont damage your hair, so sleeping in it is a-ok! This is why my hair retains the color so well. I have to touch up my roots every 3 or so weeks and I reapply all over for a good brightening up!

TIPS: Wash red hair in the coldest water you can stand- it lasts so much longer. Also, put some of your color mixture into your conditioner bottle. It brightens up your hair and sometimes I let it sit on my roots while I wash to help blend my just beginning roots!

Q: What kind of rabbits do you have? How old are they? Etc.

A: The first rabbit that we got is a Lionhead – his name is Biscuit and he will be a year old in August. Our second bunny is an English Spot – his name is Freckles and he is about 5 months. We adopted Biscuit in October of 2010 and Freckles in April of this year. They’re a lot of fun, but a lot of work! Bunnies are supposed to get 4 hours of play time a day and because both of ours are boys (and this sometimes happens when they’re male/female too) they don’t get along. So they require separate play time. They also require extreme babysitting, like a toddler. If there’s a possible danger in the room they will find or CREATE it. We are working toward being better bunny parents by looking into building a large (danger free) play pen.

What happened to your 365?

A: Ah, yes. The 365. Well, we haven’t quit per-say.. we’re just going to change things up. A lot of different stressful things led to us skipping a few pictures. It’s nice to think that nothing bad ever happens and we would all have time to take a fabulous picture every day, but when serious life issues pop up you have to take care of each other and not worry about whether or not your 365 was taken! I’m changing this either a picture of us or a picture from our day here on out. I take a picture every day, of something. It happens at some point or another. SO, I am going to go back to where we left off and use the photos we do have of us, and fill in with a photo from our day on the days that we don’t have a designated shot of us. And we’ll get back on track with our regular pictures this way and continue on!

So- you asked a few questions and I answered! If you have any more (no matter how random) feel free to leave them in the comments!

I feel like there’s not much info that I could share that most of my regular readers don’t already know, haha. Faqs are pointless! 😉
