I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would get ‘me’ back and I suppose I have been on a mission! ❤️‍🔥

I’ve had this Anberlin tattoo floating around in my brain for yearsss. Finally talked through it with a friend, shared my ideas with @alexandratattoo , and she made them all come to ✨LIFE!✨ Had the best time enjoying several hours of girl talk, good music, and tattoo therapy with her - truly it is therapy and she is the best of the best!!!

I’m not sure I could ever put into words what Anberlin’s music has meant to me over the years. If you feel that way about music in any capacity - you get it. It’s definitely one of those ‘if you know, you know’ things. My Dad was a musician and he certainly passed that feeling down to me. Love that I carry that with me!

And now I get to carry pieces of my favorite band with me. 🖤🎶
Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

Wine & Good Food

There’s just something about having a glass of wine with a good friend that makes me feel all warm inside. Ha. That could just be the wine.. but I’m pretty sure it’s just the happiness of relaxing after work and having a little bit of girl time (while your Husband goes to a baseball game). I think it’s good to have this little bit of space during the work week- Nate does his thing, I do mine. Brittany and I watched the beginning episodes of season 2 of Jersey Shore last night. *cough* I know, I know. But I can really get into anything once I like at least one character. Besides, it’s just so ridiculous that it’s fun to watch. Please tell me that makes sense to someone else. Anyway- that’s how my Tuesday was spent. Work until 7pm, picking out wine, and devouring Chipotle with Brittany over Jersey Shore.

Day 102 of 365 Days of Marriage

Today was another day of wine and good food! I got off work fairly early and got some things done around the house. Nate and I went out after he got home to pick up a few things from the store, AND … to pick out PAINT! =D Nate will be having a few days off here and there due to company issues (nothing to worry about) and we’ve decided to do a little painting. I’m excited to unveil our office once it’s completely done. It’s going to be so perfect! We’re going to move on to a few accent walls and our bedroom after that, and I’m going to tackle sanding down our dresser and painting it a bright color. I’m excited to finally see our house become a decorated home.

We cooked a delicious meal – I made the brown sugar glazed carrots and Nate grilled pork chops. I marinated two of them in lemon juice and seasoned them with lemon pepper seasoning. We’ve been doing pretty well at making good meals and not eating out! (Besides Chipotle!)

Day 103 of 365 Days of Marriage

The last few days have been a breath of fresh air, for sure. I hope we continue on with pretty weather, because that always lifts my spirits! I will be sure to update soon on Biscuit & Freckles and I will be posting the video of their horrific first meeting because it’s too hilarious not to share.

Ahh, you’re so luck to have a BBQ. I would die for that right now, haha.

I love your dress in the grill picture!

I recently got semi-addicted to Jersery Shore too. It infuriates me but also it’s addicting!!!
