I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would get ‘me’ back and I suppose I have been on a mission! ❤️‍🔥

I’ve had this Anberlin tattoo floating around in my brain for yearsss. Finally talked through it with a friend, shared my ideas with @alexandratattoo , and she made them all come to ✨LIFE!✨ Had the best time enjoying several hours of girl talk, good music, and tattoo therapy with her - truly it is therapy and she is the best of the best!!!

I’m not sure I could ever put into words what Anberlin’s music has meant to me over the years. If you feel that way about music in any capacity - you get it. It’s definitely one of those ‘if you know, you know’ things. My Dad was a musician and he certainly passed that feeling down to me. Love that I carry that with me!

And now I get to carry pieces of my favorite band with me. 🖤🎶
Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

4 Signs You Need to Visit the Dentist

This blog post may contain affiliate links. Learn more.

I admit it, I’m 38 years old and still struggle to schedule my own dentist appointments. I’ll keep everyone else in this house alive and thriving—but when it comes to my teeth? Suddenly I’m “too busy” or “I’ll make an appointment next week.”
If you’re anything like me, it’s way too easy to brush off little symptoms and just get on with your day. After all, it doesn’t feel as urgent as chest pain or a migraine, right?

But your teeth matter more than we give them credit for. They need real attention from time to time, ideally before things get painful or expensive. And even though a lot of adults skip their regular checkups, there are some warning signs we really shouldn’t ignore.

Here are a few that absolutely deserve a spot on your calendar (yes, even if you’re a chronic avoider like me).

1. Bleeding Gums

Seeing blood in the sink or on your brush isn’t “normal” just because you’ve gotten used to it. Bleeding gums can be a sign of gingivitis or periodontitis—and if they’re left untreated, they can lead to gum recession, tooth loss, bad breath, and even impact your overall health (heart issues, infections, respiratory problems…the list is long).

And sometimes bleeding gums aren’t caused by poor oral care, which is exactly why they need to be checked.

2. Tooth Pain

Listen… tooth pain is never something to ignore. You shouldn’t feel any pain in your mouth unless you accidentally bit a tortilla chip the wrong way (we’ve all been there).
But real, lingering tooth pain can mean an infection, exposed nerves, a damaged tooth, or something deeper. Even if it comes after an injury, it’s something that needs to be seen ASAP.

3. Loose or Shifting Teeth

Unless you’re six years old and waiting for the tooth fairy, loose teeth are not normal.
Even small changes (like your teeth shifting more than usual) should be checked by a dentist. And if you do lose a tooth or find one is moving, seeing specialists like San Francisco Dental Implant Center can help you explore replacement options and keep your smile healthy long-term.

4. Persistent Bad Breath

Not the “I had garlic last night” kind – we are talking about ongoing, persistent bad breath or halitosis that sticks around and refuses to budge no matter how much brushing, flossing, or gum-chewing you do.

Chronic bad breath can point to gum disease, tooth decay, an infection, or another health issue.
It’s embarrassing, yes—but it’s also important to get it investigated so you can get relief and fresher breath again.

Taking care of your teeth doesn’t have to be overwhelming. And if you’re a grown adult who still procrastinates dentist appointments, you’re in good company—I’m right there with you. But if any of these symptoms sound familiar, it might be time to bump yourself higher on your own priority list.
