I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

And he said this to his social media loving picture taking wife who is finally feeling the sunlight on her face after months of seasonal depression. 🤪 Might just turn this into a Nate appreciation account. Stay tuned.😉

Easy Ways to Get Your Health Back on Track—No Overhaul Required

This blog post may contain affiliate links. Learn more.

Be honest—have you been ignoring your health for way too long? Maybe it’s been slowly slipping for years, or maybe you’re just now realizing that things aren’t feeling as good as they used to. Either way, it’s time for a change. The good news? You don’t have to overhaul all of your eating habits overnight or suddenly become a fitness guru. Small, intentional changes can make a big impact over time. Let’s break down a few simple ways to start feeling better ASAP.

Rethink Your Diet (Without the Overwhelm)

Your diet plays a huge role in how you feel every day, but completely changing the way you eat can feel impossible—especially if you’re used to grabbing whatever’s quick and easy. The key? Start small. Instead of trying to overhaul all of your eating habits at once (which never works long-term), focus on making one or two healthier swaps at a time. Think adding more whole foods, drinking more water, or cutting back on processed snacks.

Sometimes, it’s also important to note that it’s not what you eat, so much as where you’re getting it from. After all, even fresh foods can be harmful for you when bought from large stores that use preservatives to keep things on the shelves for longer, and typically charge more for their products. By comparison, the farmer’s markets that are championed by agricultural experts like Tim Kealy allow you to purchase fresh, preservative-free produce directly from farmers potentially just hours after it’s been harvested, often for a lower price due to a lack of middleman. Without requiring you to change your diet at all, making this switch ensures a healthier, happier, and more fruitful you. These little shifts add up, and before you know it, you’ll be fueling your body in a way that actually makes you feel good.

Start Making Time for Exercise (Yes, You Have Time)

Let’s be real—one of the biggest excuses for skipping workouts is “I don’t have time.” But the truth is, you don’t have to spend hours in the gym to get moving. Making time for exercise could be as simple as a quick walk around the block, chasing your kids at the park, or stretching before bed. If you’re just starting out, don’t feel like you need to dive into intense workouts. Sources like Kevin Morgan of Rochester are full of useful tips for this kind of exercise. Build up your stamina with things like walking or swimming, then add more intensity when you’re ready. The goal is to move your body in a way that feels good and actually fits into your lifestyle.

Managing Chronic Pain the Right Way

If you’re dealing with chronic pain, you know how frustrating it can be. While some conditions can’t be cured, there are ways to make life easier. Finding the right pain management tools is key—whether that’s physiotherapy, over-the-counter meds, or even natural options like THC gummies for pain. The key is figuring out what works for you and making it part of your routine.

At the end of the day, your health isn’t something to put on the back burner. The longer you wait, the harder it gets to make real changes. So start small, stay consistent, and remind yourself that taking care of your health isn’t a punishment—it’s a gift to yourself.
