I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would I told myself that 2026 would be the year I would get ‘me’ back and I suppose I have been on a mission! ❤️‍🔥

I’ve had this Anberlin tattoo floating around in my brain for yearsss. Finally talked through it with a friend, shared my ideas with @alexandratattoo , and she made them all come to ✨LIFE!✨ Had the best time enjoying several hours of girl talk, good music, and tattoo therapy with her - truly it is therapy and she is the best of the best!!!

I’m not sure I could ever put into words what Anberlin’s music has meant to me over the years. If you feel that way about music in any capacity - you get it. It’s definitely one of those ‘if you know, you know’ things. My Dad was a musician and he certainly passed that feeling down to me. Love that I carry that with me!

And now I get to carry pieces of my favorite band with me. 🖤🎶
Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohe Happy birthday to my SEVEN year old tiny bebe Cohen! He rolled his eyes at me when I said it’s crazy that he went from 6…to 7! If you know you know.

Cohen is so sweet, kind, helpful, and smart. He loves building hot wheels tracks, setting up play areas for his little brothers, swimming, NASCAR, baseball, and never sitting still or being quiet… ever. 😆

I’m so thankful God chose me to be his mom! I love you Cohen!! Happy birthday!!

I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

And he said this to his social media loving picture taking wife who is finally feeling the sunlight on her face after months of seasonal depression. 🤪 Might just turn this into a Nate appreciation account. Stay tuned.😉

Thoughts on Pregnancy: 34 Weeks

DSC_9404
Photo taken on 4/4/2015 at my baby shower (thank you Kristie and Brittany)!

WHEW. 34 WEEKS. My head is spinning pretty much all of the time – baby thoughts, work thoughts, Pure Romance parties, Pure Romance National Training – CRAZY. All such good things but my goodness there’s a lot going on! The above picture is from the baby shower that Kristie hosted at her house at the beginning of this month. She and Brittany put together the absolute BEST “friends shower”. There was a taco bar (Jackson grilled up some delicious pork and steak – ohhhh mannn), there were churro cupcakes, there were MOCKtails, and EVERYONE brought us diapers and wipes. It was freakin’ amazing. I ate so many churro cupcakes. I’m probably storing churro cupcakes in my cheeks in this picture. It definitely looks like it.

Being pregnant and seeing who all has rallied around us to help make this whole journey into the unknown of parenthood extra wonderful has got me sentimental and mushy. My sweetest girl friends – sigh – this picture – my heart! This picture kind of sums it up because I’ve got two of my closest girlfriends on the left (Brittany and Kristie) and two of my newest girlfriends on the right (Shelby and Sarah). And I just love them and appreciate them all so much for always making time for me and being so supportive. <3 Mwahhhh. I told you, sentimental. So much mush. Nate and I are so lucky to have such amazing friends and family! How Far Along Are You: 34 Weeks
How Big Is The Baby?: 4.2 – 5.8 lbs and as big as a butternut squash! (according to that trusty baby app)
How Much Weight Have You Gained?: The normal amount. HA. I’m not sure at this point.
Maternity Clothes: Clothes are such a chore right now. But I keep finding more things I can fit into when I get desperate. Pure Romance National Training is this weekend and I have to dress very professionally for some things, business casual for others, AND I’m attending a “Derby Chic” party – trying to figure out what to wear has been… interesting! I really don’t want to go shopping at this point!
Stretch Marks: Still a few possibly forming on my boobs but none on my stomach or legs! I can handle it!
Sleep: Now that I’m finally getting over my most recent illness, I am finally sleeping better again. Some of the pain I was experiencing in my back and legs has subsided a bit.
Best Moment This Week: Attending our LAST birth class! Finding out that my Sister-in-law found the 4Moms Rockaroo swing that I wanted for me on clearance!
Movement: Pretty sure he never sleeps. It’s really fun to feel/see him moving on both sides of my belly at one time now – stretched all the way out!
Food Cravings: All food.
Food Aversions: None.
Labor Signs: None. I had some wicked gas last night for the first time and I was a little nervous! But you know.. then I realized it was gas. Whee.
Belly Button In or Out: Out! Poor, poor belly button. It’s not cute.
What I Miss: I’m pretty content right now. I think it’s going to feel really strange to not be pregnant now that I’ve been pregnant this long. I can’t wait to meet him but I’m going to miss these little kicks!
What I’m Looking Forward To: Finishing up the covering of the couch in the nursery (can’t wait to blog about it!), getting my house organized and super clean, buying a few remaining items off of my baby registry….. having a baby!! Eeee! Nate thinks he’ll be a few weeks early and I kind of do too!
