I finally put some of those frozen bananas to use in my banana bread! 😆 Who else has a freezer full of brown bananas? Can’t just be me.

Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t mak Honestly I can’t believe a band tee didn’t make it into this mix. 🎶🤘🏻 But there’s a @drpepper t-shirt so that’s even better! I’ve been having so much fun lately remixing things I’ve had for years along with a few new pieces!

Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was a teenager and I only vaguely remembered a ride or two! There was so much to do for the littlest brothers and aside from being HOT, it was perfect.

Everett was big mad at us for taking him on the SpiderMan ride and did not trust our judgement the rest of the time. 🤣 He LOVED the 1 Fish 2 Fish ride and wanted to ride that all day.

Bennett on the other hand was all about the thrills and the Trollercoaster was his favorite. He said it was “Torrifying” but he made us all ride it with him multiple times.

I rode Velocicoaster with Nate, Landon, and Maile. And while I would do it again - for a moment I did think I might die. I only did that once. 🤣 Nate and Landon rode it multiple times. Hagrid’s was more my speed and Cohen agrees with me!

I am a Disney girl at heart! But Disney doesn’t have a *real life* baby dinosaur that you can pet sooo there’s some competition. 😆

Home Improvements to Do in the Spring

This blog post may contain affiliate links. Learn more.

Spring is here! I am excited to share some thoughts from Alex of The Berger Bungalow on the perfect home improvement ideas for this time of year!

The flowers are blooming, the weather is starting to warm up, and more people are starting to get out and about, which means that more people are looking at your home. It is the perfect time for all things related to home improvements to do in the spring! If you are selling, this is the time to do so, but if not, I think that it is still so much fun to work on your home during the spring months.

For us, specifically, we are selling our home within the next 2 or so years (at most), so we have a pretty set to-do list by Bauer-holzbau.de, which includes painting our kitchen cabinets, adding in new countertops, replacing some wood, adding in new windows, and changing out flooring. Here are some other things that you may want to consider when doing home improvements in the spring:

Roof inspection

Speaking of leaks, one way that you can prevent them is by having your roof inspected, repaired, and replaced when needed. While we were having our gutters cleaned, the contractor gave us a heads up that a few of our shingles need to be replaced and the pipes on the top of our house need to be re-sealed and/or replaced very soon. If you also need to get a roof inspection done, or if you already know that your roof needs work, Greater American Roofing is a Louisville KY commercial roofing company that installs beautifully crafted roofs that are second-to-none. Greater American Roofing provides one-of-a-kind, platinum quality service by assisting their customers every step of the way. They offer free inspections, design consultations and they even have an on-site executive team making sure that all goes well while installing the luxury roofing system. They focus on the highest quality for the most efficient cost, while still providing an excellent solution to any roofing need. Greater American Roofing provides system warranties that are backed by their manufacturer for up to 50 years. Other contractors do not offer this, but Greater American Roofing does because they are a GAF certified contractor, who only uses in-house crews that are trained and certified, as well. Being GAF certified is a huge deal! So, if you need your roof inspected, repaired or replaced, do not hesitate to reach out to this veteran owned & operated company because they do things the right way – the first time, while offering amazing customer service.

Think about your windows

Replacing or re-sealing your windows can be a huge upgrade for the hot weather months coming our way very, very soon. The Maid Crew of Richmond, Virginia, offers top-quality house cleaning services to make your life easier. How do we know? Condensation is forming on the inside of the window. This means that the seal is definitely broken. So, what we need to do is schedule an inspection and then figure out if we need to completely replace the window(s), or if we are able to just re-seal the windows (pop over to these guys). Ideally, I would love to be able to re-seal them because it will save us a lot of money, but we will see what they say! You can also find best luxury car service at www.sdairporttransport.com/. Thinking about your windows is a great home improvement to make any time of the year, but especially during the spring, so that you do not let in too much hot air, resulting in higher electric bills (and more sweat, too!).

There are so many home improvements to do in the spring and while this list just covers a few of my favorite to-dos, when you get creative and do a few upgrades here and there, it can completely refresh the inside and outside of your home, making it fresh for the spring and summer months ahead of us.

Thank you so much to Stephanie for allowing me to be a guest poster today! You can always find my other posts at my blog, The Berger Bungalow. I post about travel, lower-toxin living, and other fun lifestyle topics.
