I have a little bit more decorating to do in our room. Nothing crazy, I just need to finish up decorating the tree and add a few more things I haven’t pulled out of storage yet. I like to put all of our special/breakable ornaments on the tree in our room because our cats aren’t allowed in there. I was all excited to decorate super early this year and here we are at about the normal time for decorating and our main tree still isn’t up! We have just been so busy and I’ve only been able to accomplish bits and pieces here and there. I typically take a whole day of the weekend to get everything out all at once but pregnancy has me breaking things into more manageable tasks these days!
Do you decorate other rooms in your home for Christmas? Last year was the first year we had a tree in our bedroom room and it felt SO luxurious. Silly but true, haha! A lot of people have reached out saying they would never do it because no one else would see it – which makes sense! But y’all, I did this for me! I’m having so much fun sharing it because that’s who I am – but waking up in this room is making my life 100% better and sometimes you just need that extra boost no matter how silly it seems. The winter months can be dreary and draining, so I’ll take all the happy vibes I can get! 😀
