We had a blast celebrating Landon this weekend! I’m not usually a water park girl but even I had fun, at 7 months pregnant. I will say, the lazy river was not as lazy as I expected. I wasn’t paying attention as I was rounding up tubes and getting everyone situated when suddenly a huge bucket of water turned upside down on my head. Swipe to see my reaction right after. I don’t think Nate has ever been more pleased. 🤣 He has been waiting years for that moment.
Happy 7️⃣th birthday to my sweetest, smartest, Happy 7️⃣th birthday to my sweetest, smartest, most wonderful Landon! He and Daddy went and got donuts this morning and picked out some fun books/toys at Target! I told him last night as I tucked him in bed that I cannot believe he is already SEVEN, and he responded, “Well… I’ve just been living my life!” 🙃🥲 I can’t wait to celebrate him all weekend! I love you, Landon! 💕🎈🎂
27 weeks ✨ I can’t believe I’m so close to t 27 weeks ✨ I can’t believe I’m so close to the third trimester! The last few days have been a challenge. Nate and the boys spoiled me on Mother’s Day and by the end of the day I was completely wiped out. I’m at the point where my mind feels very motivated and excited to do things but my body is now in pain doing just about anything. I could honestly sleep all day but on the flip side, I can hardly sleep at night because that’s the most uncomfortable time for me.

I’m trying so hard not to wish this time away. These are my last lil babies. This is the last time I will be pregnant. I feel so thankful and blessed. I can tell you right now that I never in a million years imagined myself as a twin mom and I certainly did not see myself with 4 kids! I remember being unsure we would even have two! 🤯 But now it all just feels so surreal and meant to be. I just can’t help but feel so ready to meet them!

This weekend we are celebrating the one who made me a mom as he turns 7! I don’t know how that’s even possible. It makes me realize just how fast these next few weeks are going to go. Time is flyiiinggg.
Thanks for the memories Islamorada! It was a wonde Thanks for the memories Islamorada! It was a wonderful treat to relax and experience a part of my home state that I’ve never had the pleasure of visiting! We will definitely be back, as Hargis party of 6, if we’re that brave. 😂🥳
Bumpin’ with these twins in the pool all day tod Bumpin’ with these twins in the pool all day today! So thankful for this time with @natehargis1987 to relax a bit before life gets a little extra wild and tiring, in the best way. ✨
I’m just here for the key lime pie mocktails.🍹😋
I think I’ll enjoy this view for a few days. 🥰
The beautiful weather this weekend was just what w The beautiful weather this weekend was just what we needed! Going to bed tonight excited for only two more days of work before some much needed relaxation.
Happy Easter! ✝️🐣 It has been a full day of Happy Easter! ✝️🐣 It has been a full day of celebrating over here! None of it would’ve been possible without Nate. He got off work and went to get a few last min presents for Cohen, picked up the cake, ordered pizza, filled all the eggs, and hid them. He sent me back to bed after lunch because I am still sick, but I was trying desperately to be better. 😐

I’m just so glad Cohen had a good birthday and they got an egg hunt! Maybe next year we’ll make it to church with all four little ones!🤞🏻

Getting Excited for Baby Boy #2 with DockATot!

Getting Excited for Baby #2!

When it comes to pregnancy the second time around feels a bit more calm. We already have so many of the things that we need, especially now that we know Baby #2 is a boy! But there are always new things out there, right? I’ve been making a list and checking it twice when it comes to things that I think will make our lives a bit easier once we have a baby in the house again. I’m happy to say I’ve already checked a few of those things off of my list, like the DockATot!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock (or you aren’t a parent.. that may be a good excuse!) you have probably heard of the magical DockATot by now. They are like a portable cocoon for your baby to sleep in! I had heard so many good things about them helping babies get to sleep that I began researching immediately after I found out I was pregnant. If you are a long time reader you may remember that my FIRST BORN did not sleep through the night until he was TWO YEARS OLD. You guys, I can’t do that again. Ok, I’ll probably make it if we do that again – but I’ll complain about it a lot and I’ll probably lose several years off of my life. I really need the DockATot to come through here! Ha!

Until I began researching I had no idea that they made them in two sizes, the Deluxe+ for ages 0-8 months and the Grand, a larger size for ages 9-36 months! We got matching DockATots of course, one for Landon and one for the new baby. I chose the marble pattern because it seemed versatile and gender neutral since we didn’t know what we were having yet. I can tell that it has made Landon feel so special to have his very own! They are not recommended for crib use but Landon is old enough now that I feel comfortable letting him sleep in it. He is obsessed with it and tells me every night that he is thankful for his DockATot to keep him cozy. It is the cutest thing.

They come in plastic zip up cases that they can easily be stored in or carried in for travel but you can also purchase a more durable transport bag from their website if you travel a lot. So far we have had no issues with washing the cover when we have needed to do that. It zips off and washes easily in the washing machine. I always hang dry it just to be safe! I am thinking about purchasing some additional accessories that are available – the toy arch & toy sets are so cute! I’m so excited to have this for Baby #2! I think it will make life so much easier, especially if/when we travel. It’s just so easy to take on the go to have a designated safe and cozy space for them to hang out in. Eekkk, I just can’t wait for my little one to be here and to see Landon with him!
