I finally put some of those frozen bananas to use in my banana bread! 😆 Who else has a freezer full of brown bananas? Can’t just be me.

Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was a teenager and I only vaguely remembered a ride or two! There was so much to do for the littlest brothers and aside from being HOT, it was perfect.

Everett was big mad at us for taking him on the SpiderMan ride and did not trust our judgement the rest of the time. 🤣 He LOVED the 1 Fish 2 Fish ride and wanted to ride that all day.

Bennett on the other hand was all about the thrills and the Trollercoaster was his favorite. He said it was “Torrifying” but he made us all ride it with him multiple times.

I rode Velocicoaster with Nate, Landon, and Maile. And while I would do it again - for a moment I did think I might die. I only did that once. 🤣 Nate and Landon rode it multiple times. Hagrid’s was more my speed and Cohen agrees with me!

I am a Disney girl at heart! But Disney doesn’t have a *real life* baby dinosaur that you can pet sooo there’s some competition. 😆

Ipsy Glam Bag Haul – August 2017

Ipsy Glam Bag - August 2017

I am in love with my Ipsy Glam bag this month! I feel like there was a bit more variety in this one than some of the previous bags I’ve received. Ipsy has really expanded my horizons by allowing me to try out new products at a great price. Prior to receiving their monthly subscription I was using the same beauty products I had used for years and I just didn’t feel great about the way my makeup looked. I would go in to Sephora, wander around, and leave defeated and overwhelmed. SO many products to choose from.

With Ipsy I just fill out a little survey about what types of products I like, pay $10 a month, and it comes to my door step in a cute little bag. There have been a few things that I haven’t loved but there is usually at least one product in the bag worth well over $10. Not to mention, I almost always receive a product that I would need to buy monthly anyway like mascara or eyeliner. This works really well for me because I rarely have to shop for makeup now, aside from my foundation.

theBalm Voyage Vol. 2 Eyeshadow/Highlighter in Kuwakaribisha

Ipsy Glam Bag - August 2017
I love this shimmery highlighter. I made a note on my Ipsy profile that I really like highlighters so they’ve sent me a few to try out and this is one of my favorites so far! I put this on my cheeks, brow bone, the bridge of my nose, in the corners of my eyes, and cupids bow. If I’m in a hurry I sweep it on to my eyelids and I don’t bother with my regular eyeshadow. It makes me look AWAKE and alive – a good Momma product for sure!

Hikari Cosmetics Shimmer Bronzer in Flush

Ipsy Glam Bag - August 2017
Admittedly I’ve received a billion blush/bronzers in my various Ipsy bags and I kind of don’t need anymore. But I really like this one and use it daily right now. I highlight with the bronzer and add a little pink to my cheeks in one sweep!

AURORA Pro Cover Up Concealer in Pale Ecru

Ipsy Glam Bag - August 2017
I was so excited to try this! I really needed a new concealer. This matches my skin tone well and adds a bit of extra coverage under my eyes to help with those dark circles.

Juliette Has A Gun – Not a Perfume

Ipsy Glam Bag - August 2017
I recently went into my Ipsy profile and added that I would be interested in receiving fragrances in my bag based on the scents I typically like. I got this cute little “molecular composition” (it’s not a perfume, according to Ipsy!) in my bag and it smells AMAZING. Just a little bit applied to the pulse points goes a long way! Nate loves it. It has hints of Vanilla, Neroli, Sandalwood, and Jasmine Sambac. Nate swears it smells like Las Vegas – haha! There is a certain smell inside all of the casinos/hotels (not cigarettes or BO) and it smells SO good. I kept joking that I wanted to find a “Vegas candle” to take home because I loved it. Well, now I smell like it. Hooray!

MAKE UP FOR EVER EXCESSIVE LASH Arresting Volume Mascara

Ipsy Glam Bag - August 2017
Like I said, I always end up with a mascara or eyeliner and that’s fine with me! Makeup For Ever is a brand that I really like so I was happy to try this one out. I’ve been using this as a first coat along with a fiber mascara and my lashes look AMAZING. I found that the fiber mascara didn’t quite hang on to my lashes well and I wrote it off after mascara flaked into my eyes. I decided to give it another try with the Make Up For Ever mascara as my base coat and the two work perfectly together! I swear it looks like I have lash extensions when I use them together.

Would you ever try out Ipsy? I am seriously hooked now! If you are interested in subscribing because of my review, I would love it if you would pop over through my referral link here! It will help me snag some points so I can get an extra product or two to review!
