I have the MOST FUN any time I’m in front of Michelle’s camera. She is so fun to hang out with and it ends up being the best girl time + hair and makeup! Y’all know I have 4 kids and I work from home.. I don’t get to feel fancy very often! If you like laughing until your cheeks hurt (your face cheeks) and feeling 🔥 - book a shoot with her! 10/10 highly recommend.

Thank goodness for spring. 🌸 2026 has been kin Thank goodness for spring. 🌸

2026 has been kind of a weird, wild ride so far, but full of good things. I started a new job! And that has taken up a lot of my time (in a good way), so I’ve been a little bit quiet around here.

I’m trying as hard as I can to prioritize myself more these days. Finally went to the doctor and did some blood work. Turns out, I’m severely anemic. I’m hoping I’ll start feeling better and little more awake after I start my iron. 😅 Maybe I can lay off the coffee a little bit. (J/k)

I can’t believe it’s almost April after we went through 3 years of January, but I’m not mad about it! Ready to relax outside on patios with family/friends and enjoy our kiddos running around. We made it. 🖤

And he said this to his social media loving picture taking wife who is finally feeling the sunlight on her face after months of seasonal depression. 🤪 Might just turn this into a Nate appreciation account. Stay tuned.😉

Polka Dots + Sail Boats

Come Sail Away
If you follow me through any social media outlet at all I am sure you’ve already heard me whine talk about how HOT it was in Florida. Mind you, this is coming from a native Floridian- born and raised. And I just- I couldn’t even. Ha! I did manage to get a few outfit shots though before running for the AC. I took these in my parent’s backyard, which felt like a pretty full circle place to take photos! I used to play in this backyard and day dream about what I would do/be when I was all grown up. I’m not sure I envisioned being a grown up who STILL plays in the back yard, with camera equipment.. but it’ll have to do. ;] I’m still such a kid (nerd) at heart. I got so excited when I found that a few of my favorite little creatures still live in our backyard. I was always the girl with the bug jar. I raised lizards from tiny eggs, hatched butterflies, and had even had a pet snail. The definition of cool? I think so.

I’m Wearing: Polka Dot Ruffle Tank + Sail Boat Shorts via Old Navy, necklace c/o Francesca’s Collections, earrings and headband from Forever21, and braided sandals from Target.

It’s hard for most people to believe that I was such an outdoorsy-mudpie-making-tree-climbing-bugjar-toting little gal, but I was! And now? Well now I really like to hang out in the air conditioning… ;] Thanks to all of my super sweet readers for being patient as I get back on track and catch up from vacation! This has been a very hectic past two days and I’m feeling very thankful this evening. Can’t wait to start the weekend.

Aw I love the outfit and I love the sentiment. There is something to be said about going back to our old childhood favorites every now and then. =]

Love this! I'm so glad you took these pictures and, yes, I still have daydreams about that little girl playing in the backyard. : )

So basically, this outfit is just too adorable. I love those sailboat shorts! I know I should have reached for them at Old Navy! I just wasn't sure since I had a sailboat print skirt! I might have to go back… also, hard to believe it, but I was a bug jar toting girl too! I kept like terrariums filled with ants, crickets, slugs, pillbugs and anything else I could get my little hands on. Now, though for some reason I am absolutely terrified of the creepy crawlies. I'm not sure what happened!
