I finally put some of those frozen bananas to use in my banana bread! 😆 Who else has a freezer full of brown bananas? Can’t just be me.

Thrifting and finding a super good clearance deal = my favorite! I’m not really sure what my style is these days.. but I’m having fun playing around with it and feeling a little more like ME in what I’m wearing. Warped Tour heart, coffee shop soul vibes? ✨😆

I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, I think sometime between becoming a mom, working, keeping up with a house, and trying to take care of everyone else… I forgot to ask myself what I actually like.

So lately I’ve been paying attention.

The clothes I want to wear.

The hobbies I want to try.

The spaces I want to create.

The things that make me feel like myself.

Maybe this is exactly what your late 30s are for. Not becoming someone new.. but remembering who you are.✨

I still just sit and stare at them in disbelief sometimes.. my twin babies.. my last babies.. and somehow they’ve been here for 4 whole years. If you’re a twin mom, you know that the time passes different. The early stages are a blur in a way I don’t even know how to explain. It makes it all a bit more bittersweet.

I love you Bennett & Everett! 💙💙

Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was Universal was a blast. I hadn’t been since I was a teenager and I only vaguely remembered a ride or two! There was so much to do for the littlest brothers and aside from being HOT, it was perfect.

Everett was big mad at us for taking him on the SpiderMan ride and did not trust our judgement the rest of the time. 🤣 He LOVED the 1 Fish 2 Fish ride and wanted to ride that all day.

Bennett on the other hand was all about the thrills and the Trollercoaster was his favorite. He said it was “Torrifying” but he made us all ride it with him multiple times.

I rode Velocicoaster with Nate, Landon, and Maile. And while I would do it again - for a moment I did think I might die. I only did that once. 🤣 Nate and Landon rode it multiple times. Hagrid’s was more my speed and Cohen agrees with me!

I am a Disney girl at heart! But Disney doesn’t have a *real life* baby dinosaur that you can pet sooo there’s some competition. 😆

Budget-Friendly Garden Makeover: How to Create a Beautiful Yard for Less

This blog post may contain affiliate links. Learn more.

If you’re staring at your garden and thinking, “This could definitely look better,” then hey, now’s the perfect time to roll up your sleeves and make it happen! This guide is here to help you figure out what changes will actually make a difference in your garden makeover, so you’re not just tossing money into the wind (or weeds).

Budget-Friendly Garden Makeover: How to Create a Beautiful Yard for Less

Have a Decluttering Session

First things first—let’s tackle the clutter. Sometimes, the quickest way to give your garden a facelift is by getting rid of all the random stuff that’s taken up residence. Got an old bike that’s seen better days? Rusty tools that haven’t been touched in years? It’s time to say goodbye! Round up anything that doesn’t belong and either trash it or, better yet, recycle it. Don’t hold back—be ruthless!

If you’ve got a patio, now’s the time to give it a good scrub down. Maybe even slap on a fresh coat of paint to bring it back to life. And while you’re at it, get rid of those pesky weeds—your garden will thank you. If storage is a problem, check out rent to own portable buildings. They’re a lifesaver when it comes to keeping your garden tidy without cramming everything into your garage.

Be Smart

Alright, let’s talk plants. Instead of filling your garden with annuals that need replacing every year, why not go for some hardy shrubs? Geraniums are a solid choice—they’re super affordable, and with a little patience, you can fill your garden with them. It’s all about playing the long game and taking your time to organize your space the right way.

And here’s a hot tip: Autumn is when bulb plants go on sale, so stock up then for some major savings. Trust me, your future self (and your wallet) will be thrilled with the results.

Recycled Planters

Let’s get crafty! Brand-new planters can cost a pretty penny, but you can totally DIY some unique ones without spending a dime. Got some old pop bottles lying around? Poke a few holes in the bottom, toss in some gravel for drainage, and give them a splash of paint. Boom—custom planters that cost you nothing but a little time and creativity. By doing this, you’ll have plenty of options to create unique planters that serve various purposes. It’s a budget-friendly idea that’s perfect for adding some flair to your garden without straining your wallet.

On a budget? No problem. You can also repurpose old tires, tin cans, or mason jars. Seriously, don’t toss them—turn them into something awesome for your garden instead. Your outdoor space will look fab, and you’ll have more cash in your pocket.

Wrap It Up

There you have it—a few simple, budget-friendly ideas to spruce up your garden and make it a space you’ll love spending time in. Whether you’re decluttering, planting smart, or getting creative with recycled planters, a little effort goes a long way. So, grab your gardening gloves, crank up your favorite playlist, and get to work. Your garden oasis is just a few steps away!

And remember, it’s not about having the perfect garden—it’s about creating a space that makes you and your family happy. So, have fun with it and enjoy the process. Happy gardening!
