Frye Grand Opening / The Summit At Fritz Farm - Lexington, KY

I got invited to hang out at Frye Lexington for their grand opening event with Bulleit and Houndmouth on Thursday! It was a blast! When I walked into the store I was immediately hit by the wonderful aroma of leather. Ah, I love that smell so much. To celebrate their grand opening Bulleit Frontier Whiskey was there to prepare a selection of bourbon cocktails. My favorite was the Houndmouth (details below) – yes – named after the band that was there to get us dancing! I also indulged in a few appetizer treats that were floating around – puff pastries, sliders, tiny pies! Shopping for amazing shoes + bags all while sipping cocktails, eating delicious food, and dancing to a fun band? Yeah – that is how I would like to shop every day of my life, please.

I wore my new off the shoulder floral top paired with my high-waisted black Gap jeans (scroll down to see). I love how beachy this top can be untucked with a pair of white jeans or a striped pencil skirt but then I can easily make it a little “edgy” with black denim, a chocker, and heels! This is definitely my favorite top for the summer and I’m trying not to over wear it but you know what? Who careeess. Break all the fashion rules! ;] Y’all know I will be posting a ton of photos when we’re in Vegas in a few weeks and I’ll probably be wearing it in 80% of the photos.
