I have a few favorite lip products that I’ve just been dying to share with y’all! I like a little bit of variety when it comes to my lip color – glossy, matte, bright, subtle! I want it all! These are my go to lip products for Spring and Summer. Make sure to check out the swatches at the bottom of this post to really get a feel for what all of the colors look like.
Lancome Matte Shaker in Pink Power # 378 – This is my go to when I need a pop of pink! I can layer it on thin or a bit heavier for a more dramatic look. The best part? It stays put in a matte finish but it doesn’t dry out my lips or crack. I am kind of obsessed with the applicator! I wasn’t sure what to think when I first saw it, but I love it! I received this in an Influenster box and it instantly became my favorite bright lip color for summer. If you don’t know what Influenster is – go SIGN UP. Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Honeycomb – This is the perfect nude lipstick. Need I say more? It’s moisturizing and goes on smooth. It doesn’t have extreme staying power but it feels good on and fades out evenly so even after I’ve eaten something and it is starting to fade it leaves a bit of natural color behind. I received this baby lipstick via Influenster as well!
Mellow Matte Lipstick in Nude – I’m a bit new to Mellow Cosmetics but I’m already a huge fan. Their products are Cruelty Free, Vegan and Paraben Free – something that is becoming increasingly important to me! This is a pinky nude that I just can’t get enough of! It’s SO moisturizing, long lasting, and it smells and tastes fantastic. I don’t know how to describe it other than to say that it smells and tastes like summer! I’m a sucker for the cute packaging too. It’s the perfect blend between a nude and pink on the days when I just can’t choose! I think I need to invest in a few more colors at only $13 a tube! I have stumbled upon some of my favorite beauty products thanks to Ipsy and it’s only $10 a month, which is obviously worth it when ONE product alone is $13 by itself! Tarte Tartiest Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Rosé – I adore Tarte products and this lip paint has not disappointed me. This is another nude color I adore and this one STAYS ON. Forever. I really like to make sure my lips are super exfoliated and smooth before using this one and I sometimes add the Bite Beauty nude over top of it to give it a little moisture. It’s super matte, which I love! This is one I love to wear when I just want something subtle but I want it to stay on through a meal or two without having to reapply. This is another Ipsy Glam Bag find!
